You'll get no more than a passing nod of acknowledgement from some of these simpletons as far as Gerrard is concerned.

Some are making far too much of Suso. The lad still has a lot to learn

Sterling didn't have his best game, but he did enough without standing out.

I guess its something to do with expectations, were too used to having Gerrard around and can get disappointed when hes not at his best (which was a few years ago although hes still a class player), Suso is still relatively new and shiny, and whilst definitely exciting, he still has a lot to prove, we dont wanna go overboard with a few good games

He didn't do anything notable, but again he didn't need to, as he came on when the game was effectively won.

Thought he had a great game. Almost too unselfish laying off the ball on several occasions. He went on a good couple runs too.

Assaidi didn't do much when he came on, was alright midweek, but there is something about his style and movement that I don't like.

Good team selection = good result. It's not rocket science, but other managers make it seem like it is.

    Obvious wum.
Do you not like the fact that he doesn't run in straight lines and lose posession like Downing?

    Reina
    Johnson Carragher Skrtel Konchesky
    Meireles Gerrard Poulson Cole
    Torres N'Gog

    ......

That made it look like rocket science.

Its at Old Trashford, expect them to get 12 hours of injury time and penalties for fouls in the centre circle.

No lol. Just something strikes me as odd about his style. He is miles ahead of Downing.

I think it has to be Carrick he dives today. That will get the press going.

Great we got the win but we need to stop conceding goals. Need a clean sheet next week to breed a bit of confidence into the defence and more importantly Reina. Great that Rodgers has put faith in Wisdom ahead of Enrique and Sterling/Suso instead of Downing. The young guys are clearly adapting to Rodger's football a lot easier than some of the older more established players and if they can keep their heads, keep working hard then we could have the basis of a great team for the next 5-10 years.

Just quickly on the United game, I'm not too suprised they are losing. We should have beaten them comfortably last week, even with 10 men and their midfield/defense is shocking. Their strength is in Rooney/Van Persie/Kagawa and apart from that I can't think of any other players that have that would get into Chelsea/City/Arsenal team.
