    29/09/2012 - 5.30pm - Old Trafford, Manchester
    Barclays Premier League

    Team News

    Manchester United

Antonio Valencia is Manchester United's major injury concern ahead of Saturday's Premier League encounter with Tottenham at Old Trafford. The Ecuador wide-man suffered a nasty knock on his ankle at Liverpool last week and Sir Alex Ferguson rates Valencia as 'doubtful'. Darren Fletcher and Scott Wootton are both in the United squad but are unlikely to play from the outset and Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney could start together for the first time.

    Player to Watch

    Wayne Rooney

Wayne Rooney returns to Premier League action and is expected to line up along side Robin van Persie for the first time.

    Team News

    Tottenham Hotspur

Brad Friedel will return in goal for Tottenham's trip to Manchester United in the Premier League. Hugo Lloris will be on the bench and defender Kyle Naughton could return after missing last week's win over QPR with a foot injury he sustained against Lazio. Emmanuel Adebayor (hamstring), Scott Parker (Achilles), Jake Livermore (groin), Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Younes Kaboul (both knee) are out.

    Player to Watch

    Moussa Dembele

Dembele has already tortured United this season when he lined up for Fulham prior to his transfer to Spurs.

We are not playing that well at the moment, so should be a close game, although i think home advantage will tell in the end.

I am wary of Dembele but hopefully we have enough to win.

Nani will be punished and won't play.

I predict that in that event Welbeck and Kagawa could play as wingers allowing Rooney to slot in where Kagawa has been playing behind RVP. Giggs/Scholes and Carrick in midfield and Evra, Ferdinand, Evans and Rafael as defense.

    Lindergard(spelling?) to "gard" the goal.

Is it just me or have we been outplayed in every single match this season? We can't keep the ****ing ball at home again.

Giggs and Scholes should never play in the same team.

If we want to win games and boss games Anderson and Cleverly have to play.

Of all our midfielders and attacking players Nani is the only one doing anything. Still its his fault <ok>

Fergies ****ed this up big time with his team selection.

    3 half time subs.

Anderson on for Giggs, Valenica on for Giggs and Rooney on for Carrick.

I don't understand getting rid of berbatov to play a fast paced game and then start with giggs carrick and scholes against a high energy midfield like tottenham what is SAF playing at

Be honest, Evra or Büttner? Which one would you have started off with now in hindsight?
