well maybe with the pace of baines matching up with clyne with him at right back and shaw at left back would be a good idea
Saints team: Gazzaniga, Richardson, Fonte, Yoshida, Clyne, S. Davis, Ward-Prowse, Lallana (c), RamÃrez, Rodriguez, Lambert. No Morgan hmm...

We're ****ed without Schneiderlin - he's been the heartbeat of that midfield lately Suddenly we look light in midfield, with both Reeves and Chaplow on the bench! Gutted for Puncheon as well - doesn't deserve to be dropped! Still, no Fox which pleases me
Everton team: Howard, Baines, Jagielka, Heitinga, Neville (c), Osman, Pienaar, Coleman, Fellaini, Jelavic, Mirallas Bollocks Jelavic is fit again.
That's how I interpreted it - we'll find out come KO! Or possibly a straight 4-4-2 with GR on the right and AL on the left?
"There maybe trouble aheaddddd......." Gutted that Snidders is out of action, light in midfield against areal top hard premiership team There are goals in this for us but can we stop Everton is more to the point .....ugh!
As I said, couple of shocks and a bid of tinkering. Schneiderlin is a massive loss if you ask me. But the team looks exciting and lets see how we go.
Surprised that Fox isn't even on the bench, Reeves was originally a left back-surely he can't be ahead of Fox now?
Fox is **** but probably also injured Errr no. Lambert has no where near the fitness required to play in midfield..If someone plays midfield out of the two it's rodriguez 1000 times out of 1000
He played in the league cup for them midweek, so it doesn't surprise me that he starts. Fox out of the squad altogether is maybe a touch harsh, especially because I can't see Reeves coming on. However I expected, and am happy, to see Richardson come into the XI for him. As Olly says, we must presumably be changing formation otherwise why on earth replace Puncheon with Jay. Would make no sense to play Jay outwide. It didn't really work against City or Wigan, and Puncheon hasn't done anything wrong out on the wing.
I think fox has been struggling with an injury so they are most likely resting him until hes fully fit but tbh unless we are desperate I would rather he stayed out of the team.
