Well? Nottingham Forest. Leeds United Newcastle United They went down and their squads were comparable and perhaps even better than Liverpools. Is this a blip or is it really possible that they can go down. The bookies have them at a 100/1. If you are a betting man or if there are free bets on offer would you take that punt? If Suarez gets injured what happens? They already lost 2 important defenders so will likely be weaker at the back. Will it be a case of them being too good to go down or is there really such a thing? Personally I dont think they will. I dont think they are certain of a top half finish and it may be late in the season before they can rest easy but relegation seems unlikely. Its Liverpool..................... but Nottingham Forest Leeds United Newcastle United edit, had the season started in January they would be relegated. 20 points is all they have picked up so maybe its not that unlikely after all.
I wrote in a very early post that I think that the scousers will go down this season. Unlikely otherwise the bookies will not give 100-1. I have "invested" £100. Significant amount to lose but at 100-1 I will have a juicy £10,000 if that happens.
I can't see it myself, there have been signs of them starting to play quite well. In fairness they were playing round us on Sunday. If they get more injuries though they could be knackered and I've no idea where their goals are supposed to come from. Added to that two major defensive injuries in Sunday's game so you never know.
Thats the thing Ruff. They have been playing well and have nothing to show for it. Can they play dirty and pick up scrappy wins. The sort of wins that make the difference between 8th and 18ths really. I know they have played some tough teams but these were all home games and its likely they will lose the return fixtures. This thread might be best to come back to after their next 5 games. Its a little easier ( well, playing teams around them at least ) and will give a better idea of where they are at. I can honestly see them struggling to make double figures after 10 games. I think a change of manager might be what helps them in january. Like when Spurs were doing similarly bad under Ramos a few years back and brought in Harry.
http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896...ter-united-top-everton-third-liverpool-in-the Bolton have taken more Premier League points than Liverpool in 2012. Bolton currently reside in the Championship They are the worst team who started 2012 in the Premier League. They keep saying they are playing well but are unlucky. Can this really be the case a now its been going on for a year and over 2 managers?
What should I do if I won 10 Grand??? Any ideas welcome. You can see why I have vested interest in the scousers falling apart. So far so good
Dear Mr Mods Would you kindly consider a sticky called "Relegation Watch"? I and some other posters are very interested in relegation issues this season. Thank you Best regards Christian
Let's be honest, you haven't placed the bet at all. If you had placed the bet and it came in, maybe you could spend the winnings on a new coat?
If I hadnt already used my free bet on Skybet I would of stuck a 5er on it at 100/1. Thats the max Sky will allow with their free bet anyway.
Where is the copy of Christian's bet? I thought he promised us all he would post a pic of it to prove he doesn't just talk BS on here? Did he not say he would show us all proof? Or was that just me thinking that it was clearly so easy to do that he would just do it anyway?
Maybe he planned to then found out the odds have been slashed William hill now offers a measly 33/1 on it, Sky 40/1
