I'm just harping in where I don't belong here - but I'd just like to point out that last September our active numbers dropped massively from the end of August as well. For some reason there is a big anti-climax after the end of the transfer window and it doesn't start picking up again until towards November when the league structure starts becoming a bit more defined (and another transfer window approaches).

Outside view is welcome, but there has been issues in the recent past with the mods on this forum which is causing a lot of regulars to move to other sites.

you don't have to look far back

The only person with an issue is you Swan just because I've asked you not to call a Cardiff fan scum.

A word to the wise too, Mick is the owner of this site so I'd be careful what I say to him if I was you.

Anyway I'm off to bed as I have to get up early tomorrow as I'm off to Stoke.

difficult job, when people force you to make a decision half agree with you and half dont...... you can never please anyone but people expect you do.....

for what its worth i think the mods do a good job, from a former mod..... ;)

Why we live in a democracy we have the right to have issues with the way the mods are running things!

I do have some issues to address

    1. the comment that rubber made on English people and when asked you completely ignored the question
    2. rubbers reference towards hooliganism.
    3. someone calling myself a dickhead. now one rule cant only apply to one?

I did clarify that my comment towards our bitter rivals was a bit of friendly banter but for some reason that was just falling on deaf ears.

I have nothing to hide but I think you should take your own advice Dill. Your decision making has been under a lot of criticism of late.

So that justifies you calling me a dickhead?

What I said was not personal to one person so is a bit of an over reaction
Your comment on the other hand is! now I am a big boy and like most of your football analysis will laugh your comments off

No , not a good job ... Mabon posts once a month most of the time , Dilligaf diverted a lot of attention toward Casual to settle a personal score IMO & if I'm not mistaken , Jash changed the stickies without being asked ..... like I said though before , the only thing they have going for them is Phil setting the bar so low ! . Nobody said being a mod is easy , so don't make it harder on yourself . Show up once in a while , don't let personal issues into the fray & if it ain't broke .. leave it the f#ck alone . Have a great weekend all !

    Question for Dill:

Week in week out Swansea chant anti Cardiff songs and vice versa. With you warning myself about a very mild remark towards Cardiff fans do you think that these songs should be banned from the stadiums and banning orders be handed out against persistent offenders?

Because thats the way I see this forum being run!

Cheers Breezy i am quite new and normally keep myself to myself and only talk about footballing matters on the pitch. Nice to know that I am not the only one who thinks this way.

The mods have a difficult job and some people on this forum don't help. In short, they can't keep their gobs shut and behave in a civilized manner. Time after time threads have disintegrated into a welter of insults and name calling. We are here to debate football in general and the Swans in particular but all too often someone disagrees with someone else, a personal remark is made and then it all kicks off.

The mods should be ruthless. Any personal remarks, even something as mild as calling another poster an idiot, should see that post removed. If people are not adult enough to post an opinion without resorting to name calling then they shouldn't be here. Take it to some kiddies' board where it might be appreciated. Personally, I'm here for the football and I can't stand all this childish prattle that sometimes goes on here. Keep it up, lads, and this forum will die.

I don't care one way or the other anymore really & wouldn't be responding here except for the matter at hand , I love SCFC & everything that is happening with it these days ... the Swans are a lot of opposing fans second team it seems & and a war cry for all smaller teams building responibly . I can read a lot of places to get what I need but my problem here is I want to read everyone , whether I like it or not .

modding is a thankless job, the line between lively banter and abuse is a subjective one. but someone has to make the call when debate runs the risk of descending into pathetic name-calling and the guys who are doing it, are doing a fine job. for the older posters who've recently been upset by some mod decisions i hope on reflection they come back - we can't all agree on everything all the time and i understand much of the issues surrounding the upset, however the forum is a lesser place without you. But the forum is a lesser place too when welcome threads such as the recent one by Aber gets derailed into provocation and name-calling.
