I sort of missed him as a player - I first went in '96 but then only went sporadically until I got my first Season Ticket in '03. He's not really a hero to me and I mainly associate him as a yes man who wore shorts in ridiculous weather and contested throw in decisions as we spiralled. So couldn't really give a toss about him, sorry! And I think Colchester were to quick to sack Ward anyway, who had done a very good job. Hope they suffer now.

Agree Mike, £30k well spent IMO. For me, the bargain of all time will always be Killer. I know it was a different era and transfer values were way lower, but £4000 for 168 goals - ye gods...
