Still dont like the gaps on the first 4 fly aways! Would be much better to do those over a 4/5 week period and then have a 4 week break before Barcelona IMO. Just dont see the point in lugging all the kit back to ship it back out where you have just come from - more or less.
Agree, there loads of 3 week breaks inbetween some races, would make sense to do the first four fly-aways in 5 weeks, for example Aus-May-China back to back to back.. two weeks and then Bahrain, two weeks and then Spain and Monaco back to back, then have two weeks off before Canada and New Jersey. Also, don't get the three week break between British and German GP, unless they are looking to fill that slot with a return of the French GP? Glad no return to Valencia this year! Would like to see a return to Turkey, one of the better Tilke-Dromes!
When was the last season with only seven races in Europe? Bearing in mind this is where all the teams are based.
There were four genuine overtaking places, it's probably the only track that can say that. If it's taken off the calendar it should be because of the political situation, people shouldn't be put in danger for a race.
I'm not sure any other race gets F1 as much publicity as Bahrain. They'll keep it for as long as the government oppresses its people.
Fresh doubts emerge over 2013 New Jersey Grand Prix New doubts have been raised over the planned 2013 New Jersey Formula 1 street race after Bernie Ecclestone revealed the existing contract for the race had been annulled. The provisional 2013 schedule circulated during last weekend's Singapore Grand Prix had the second American event slated for a mid-June date. That was despite previous suggestions of the New Jersey project encountering difficulties, and the departure of its chief Tom Cotter in August.
Interesting news here: http://www.f1today.net/en/news/f1-race-news-france-thailand-and-australia told you france may be on it...but not where I thought
Paul Ricard can't see the Belgium/France/Italy trio though. Far too many European races for Bernie's liking.
