You'll notice that Rio X, the other player found guilty of breaking E3(1) this year, is conveniently left out of all of this. Inverse racism by the media and the single-issue race relations self-publicists?

    Agreed. <ok>

That's the thing with racism. It's one of those crimes which is considered to be worse than everything else (like r@pe) and it's something that will stick with you for the rest of your life. Just being accused of it is enough to ruin your reputation.

Unless there's video evidence it didn't happen.

Surely you need video or written evidence to prove something did happen, not the reverse. I take it you were on the 'independent' panel for the Suarez case?

    ppen both ways"

You need evidence to prove something didn't happen? You really are on the FA's legal team, aren't you? I mean this is what some of us have been trying to point out all along: regardless of whether it is a civil court, a criminal court or workplace investigation, if someone stands accused (as in the cases of Terry, Ferdinand and Suarez) the presumption of innocence is still the cornerstone of procedures, irrelevant of which burden of proof is adopted. It is up to the accuser (in this case the FA) to prove guilt, not the accused to prove innocence.

You and the FA seem to forget that.

I don't often look on that side. You just don't strike me as a mod(erator). Not that there's anything wrong with being one like.
