What I think will happen in the summer

We should sign a CB as well, maybe someone like Roger Johnson is a more realistic target than Cahill and co.

 

I'd love Roger Johnson or Scott Danns from Birmingham, top centre backs with Premiership experience!

 

Ideally I'd have liked Kadar to break through this season, loads of potential there and maybe if he has a good loan next season he could be a first teamer soon.

 

Yep, that's the kind of CB we could do with, and would compliment Colo brilliantly.

 

Not A bad prediction, pretty realistic targets IMO. Agree with Smudger, I think Sambas unlikely although I do think we'll get a new CB just probably from a foreign league.
Although I hope we push for Europe next season what I'd really liketo see is some of our youth players pushing through ie. Vuckic, Kadar, Airey ect

 

I agree with this completely. Next season we need to send out the following players to the Championship...Kadar, LuaLua, Vuckic, Ranger and Airey. If we don't they will never get a chance. We need to start taking advantage of the loan system and give our young stars vital experience! I'd love to see LuaLua return to Brighton for a year and Kadar can go to someone like Brighton because he looked very good for us in the Championship!

Does it annoy anyone else that we seem to send our youngsters to divisions that they are too good for? Kadar was too good for League One and Tavernier hasn't looked out of place for us, so I was a little bemused by him playing in th Conference. Surely Tavernier would do well in the Championship/League One?

probably get ripped to shreds. but hey, I think we have a realistic chance of signing some of these, Samba possibly not, wouldn't be against johnny evans though.

 

Might be being stupid here, but whose Lopez? I'm assuming you dont mean the one who was in his prime about 10 years ago in the italian league?

We're all in agreement that Samba would be an amazing signing for our club obviously, but as Smudger stated we haven't been linked with him at any point so it's more hopeful than anything else. Pure fantasy unfortunately

 

I would be pleased with all this but really can't see it happening.
