Dont think he particularly dislikes us. He just doesn't think we'll win, which looking at the formbook is probably fair enough. He often gets it wrong though, so we still have everything to prove.
Lawro is employed as a pundit and has to give his opinion on how he sees things panning out in games - i feel that he is fairly even-handed and tells it as he sees it, and is not overly anti-Saints. His 2-0 prediction is probably about what most neutrals, and some of us, would agree with. Be great to prove him wrong though ! I am heading off up the motorway tomorrow morning hoping for a good performance, as per 2nd half last saturday, and maybe an upset. Expecting a draw at best though.
Interesting that despite our win last week most of us are not expecting anything more than a point at best. I still personally think we could sneak it. Be interesting to see what the mood is on here Sat night/sun morning if we do get nothing.
The thing that Lawro is wrong about is predicting that we won't score - I don't think there will be many games this season in which we don't get at least one goal, Wigan notwithstanding, such is the strength of our attack. 2-2 for me, but a fairly late equaliser by Saints.
Lawro's crystal ball is just as good as anyone elses. Obviously not many people would predict Saints to get anything, Everton have had a really good start. But of course we have a chance.
http://www.player.saintsfc.co.uk/la...3400/page/0/name/Flashback:-Saints-vs-Everton Some great goals on here. Especially a collectors item a Dodds goal! An unbelievable own goal from Newell and a beauty from Fernandes!
That Fernandes goal was one of my favorite goals during my child hood, sitting right behind the goal you knew as soon as he hit it that it was destined for the net. Good times.
I guess NAs biggest dilema is which two of the three centre backs to play in this one? Without a fit Left Back could he risk all three?
I've only recently subscribed to saints i player and i'm totally hooked on it. I think Everton are due a slip up. We're great going forward. we can damage them.
2-2 prediction. Can see us taking something here, as good as Everton are, it won't be impossible to score against them.
Lawro doesn't have crystal ball. Or rather, what Lawro calls his crystal ball, the rest of us call the bookies' odds. Lawro calls it as his favourite bookmaker sees it!
saints are 8/1 to win. Thats the longest odds for a win in the premier league tomorrrow. £10 on Saints to win. Its got to be worth a punt! http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/everton-v-southampton/winner
