Pretty realistic, have they beaten you to loads of signings as well?

On mine Hughton got him to sign a new deal, but he's been unhappy for a while.

 

You call me narrow minded then refuse to see my reply, not answering why you think I'm wrong either. I have watched Ireland's entire involvement with us and no, it hasnt extended further than a few nice passes, and a scuffed volley against Man U.

You have watched Ireland and think he is already better than Jonas, so you have another half baked reason to slate him, and would you care to say what else he has done in those 2 sub apps? No, because you are the stubborn, narrow minded one who refuses to continue an argument because it is based on nothing.

 

He surely can't think you can sign a player based on two brief cameo appearances. Yes, Ireland has looked bright when he has come on but it doesn't mean he should be an instant signing.

 

I know, he wont read this again though, so anyone who wants to let off some steam knowing tash wont read it post away!

I'd love to know what the bigger picture he claims exists is in those 2 sub apps...

 

Agree, we need to see alot more of him to decide on wether to sign him. Weve only seen about 40 minutes! I get the feeling that if he aint good enough to get in the villa team ahead of Petrov?! Then what makes him good enough to get into ours, just because of his good season at city, it doesnt mean he will carry that through the rest of his carear...

 

I've not posted that knowing he's not going to read it, I don't care if he does.

 

He's made our play more positive and a lot less long ball. I'd say that's more due to the position he's been playing in rather than him though...

 

I know, it was just a joke, he will read it later anyway, when no one sees that he is viewing. It's just like when he threatened to leave forever

Just found out he was a free transfer last summer!!! That's 1.5m cheaper than Best!

So there are good players available on free's!

I hope we get him though, he is "Mr Right Place, Right Time" - Hernandez style.
