Fixtures After The Reading Game.

Not a bad little run of fixtures after the Reading game. Just three away games out of the next ten. Saves us quite a bit in travelling expenses and gives us that little bit extra cash to put aside for Santa Claus money.

Man Utd at home will probably be the toughest game there, then Liverpool away.

 

So sad we're not playing on my Birthday. 31st October, last year we won 3-1 away to Stoke (which was much better than i was expecting) and the year before we beat some team 5-1...

 

Man Utd is always going to be a tough game but we've got a team that can beat them on our own pitch.

Even without Jones scoring an own goal.

 

5-1? Hmmmm, I wonder who that could have been?

Maybe we should have a little competition to see who knows and give rep as a prize to the winner.

 

Hope so, thought we were the better team last night, so hopefully that will give us encouragement for the league game.

 

Coming away from Liverpol with three points is always a satisfying feeling.

Holy **** that's a lot of games for 2 months

 

Just a shame we ain't won there since 1995.

 

Could have been, seem to remember they played in red and white stripes.

 

Hopefully last game will be the start of us picking up form.

If we do start playing well now, then I think we could really have a cracking season.

We played poorly and got a great points total.

 

Think I saw your old mate Tomw in town yesterday Tash. Looks a bit taller than the last time I saw him if it was him.

Just saw him in passing.

 

I talk to Tomw at matches sometimes.

We're not really big friends, we don't hang out or anything, but he's a decent chap. We sometimes speak at matches.

5 goals is canny too. It's funny hearing him say "tash" and "fat ****" in his accent.

5 goals has shot up to and has aged about 5 years within 12 months. When I met him the first time he was skinny and young looking with braces. When I met him last week, It took me 10 seconds to recognise him fully.

He's a tad taller than me now, and he's thicker set, bigger set of shoulders. Looks like a young man now.

I've also met Badger a couple of times, but we didn't really speak that much. Saw DavideDuck, but didn't talk to him. He's one of the toonforum bunch that I don't hate, who's canny, but I'm indifferent to.

 

I can see us dropping 3 points

 

I'd be happy with two draws vs Manure and Sunderland, but I have full confidence that, if we've got Colo and Tiote, that we can beat them well.

They defend very well, but their only real goal threat has been Fletcher. I think Saylor and Colo can do a job on him, but I think he could very well knock one in.

We need to be careful not to leave ourselves open. They will sit back and counter. I'll be pissed off if we have them on the ropes for 70+ mins but don't score.

 

Sounds like 5Goals must have been working out. Haven't see him for ages but did meet him and his dad a couple of times.

 

Dropping 3 points won't be so bad, I'd be happy with that.

 

Don't think he's been working out, but he's just got a naturally bigger build to him.
