Does anyone else feel really optimistic about our future?

Well this summer and next season will be a turning point. It is then we will find out if we are a club with ambition.

The next two years are probably the biggest crossroads tge cub has been at in years.

 

I personally think the business we do in this summers transfer window will be a benchmark of how the next 5 years will be.

 

Yes and it will also be the summer that will decide how Mike Ashley is remembered over history at Newcastle as well.

 

To be honest I think the damage that hes done thus far will never be forgotten and will live on for a long time, but a sound investment this summer could go a long way to making things right.

 

The best Newcastle United can hope for is to stay mid-table in the Premier League - we've seen how much money needs to be invested to make serious moves into the Champions League placings. We're by no means a rubbish team but much depends on the level of investment this summer... it really isn't going to be as good and positive as many of you are thinking. Mike Ashley is still looking to make money back from the club so if we do eventually make any headway towards Europe etc, it's a few years off yet.

 

Would probably be inclined to agree with this, top 10 we should definitely be aiming for though, considering we will be there or there abouts at the end of this season.
