    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...s-banned-driving-clocked-140mph-Maserati.html

arsenal player was driving at 140mph, banned from driving for 12 months and fined £3,600 and admitting speeding away from chasing police at up to 140 miles per hour because he was late for training.....

one rule for them and one for us, imagine any member of the public did what he did, not only doing double the speed limit, but not stopping for police...... you'd surely be looking at jail plus disqualification......ridiculous.......

If you got the money for a top barrister you will get away with it to a certain extent. Just look at me. I represented myself in court, accused of flicking a *** end out of the car window, no physical or photographic evidence, one witness !! Magistrate found me guilty and upped the fine from £75 to £215......Fecking Jackpot ! to top it all me old Ma just bought me another 400 regal back from her cruise.

Pity the charge wasn't "Driving like a total tw*t". he would have to plead guilty as charged.

Oh dear, he'll just have to hire a driver for 12 months (now there's a job for Alan Tate) and pay the fine from his loose change.

The bitch raised unemployment from 1 million to 3 million - and it looks, in hindsight, like a fair bit of that was done deliberately in order to change the economy from manufacturing and heavy industry to service sector low wages and stuff the big unions. Explain - how did her policies work again?
Quite a few companies are making 'The wicked witch is dead' t-shirts in preparation for the tragic event. Perhaps the NUM, the Liverpool Dockers, Liverpool football fans, everybody who works in the public sector, anyone who became unemployed due to her policies (too late for my father I'm afraid), and anybody who still waiting to get a council tenancy because she sold off half the stock would like to co-ordinate a t-shirt wearing march. With my little pick and shovel I'll be there.

look, each government has its good points and bad points. i could rant for ages about what labour has done to the economy, how the conservatives caused mass unemployment etc but i wouldnt go as far as saying 'i hope that bitch dies' about anyone, blair, brown, thatcher, anyone....

if thats the case then why were they in office for almost 20 years? surely they were doing something right. (prepares for onslaught)

You are right of course, on two points.
    1. It is morally reprehensible to celebrate her death - I just can't help it.
    2. She must have done something right.- Yes, she got the media to be even more right wing than before and back her to the hilt, and she made a lot of already rich people extremely wealthy. Hence, it became acceptable to decry anything connected with the working class (this enabled the South Yorkshire Police to say what they liked (documents show she wanted to cover up criticism of them) and, ultimatley, for The Sun to print what it liked. It was in her time that the unemployed and poor became known as feckless, lazy, wasters, idle, stupid - it was all their own fault, a view that is still put about today and has become acceptable to make as statements of the blindingly obvious. Under her leadership a whole class of society moved from being the salt of the earth to being portrayed as the scum of the earth. A considerable achievement.

right my grandad was working class, about as working class as they get, steel worker....... retired in the 80's i think when it was all shut down, i dont remember him holding any grudges.....remember being PM is a job at the end of the day....

and my other grandad was about as middle class as they get and did very well in that period, so i can see both sides of the equation aber......
