There's been no news for a week now [not that I've heard anyhow] with regard the ownership of the club. Can the administrators not see that the longer this drags on the deeper in the mire the club will be. The shenanigans are clearly having a detrimental effect on the players. Every unnecessary delay puts the team a step closer to League Two. HOW MANY POINTS IS GOOD MORALE WORTH? Answers on a postcard please. Message to Trevor Birch: GET OFF YOUR BACKSIDE, STOP DRAGGING THIS ON TO INCREASE YOUR OBSCENE FEES AND PULL YER EFFING FINGER OUT! - PRETTY PLEASE WITH A GLACIER CHERRY ON TOP! Not that I'm getting at all impatient You understand....
Perversely, in your case the ownership situation being sorted out could be bad for morale, what with the -10
Every-one knows that's coming, but the sooner the issue is sorted the sooner the players and coaching staff will have a burden off their minds and can get on with getting some points on the board before it's too late! I'd rather have the table showing us on -5 at the bottom right now, with the issue sorted than +5 and be in the situation we're in - knowing the -10 is going to be actioned anyway
Not wanting to add to our misery but -10 is the minimum they are likely to hit us with, it could well be more.
I wouldn't presume to speak for the players, but suddenly going into - points, expected or not, has to be a bit of a downer.
