I'd have to leave work at least an hour early to make it home on time and that would mean working during lunch or something. I reckon 4-5-1 but he'll need to make a hard call regarding somebody. Ambrose and Wanyama in midfield together would be like a blast shield for the defence but then you need to leave out Ledley (prob - just getting back), Commons (top form), Kayal (gettin back as well), Samaras (Hooper has earned his start), Broon (unlikely - but that basically gives us 3 battlers in the middle), Forrest (was keech against Benfica but you'd play someone like him to run at full backs on a plastic pitch). **** knows. We absolutely NEED a result out of this one now - there's plenty options to choose from in the team and there are no excuses. Will we double up on McGeady?
I still haven't seen Ambrose though by all accounts I'm looking forward to. I just don't see how you can put someone, no matter how well he played, into the starting lineup of a team that already has a solid central midfield. I'd go 4-5-1 in Russia. 3 battlers in midfield tomorrow I think is a must. Someone who is playing well is going to be left out especially if Sammy plays. If Neil thinks Sammy is ready he will surely start. The squad now is completely different than what we had available for Benfica and hopefully we can get at least the same result. Russia is always regarded as been very difficult. Hopefully the bhoys will do the job.

We all know that money is getting tight for Celtic fans as well as football throughout Scotland. The decision of the Celtic club to block links to Celtic matches that are not covered by the usual Sky or whatever, seems on the face of it a very brutal and cold decision. There are many supporters from Donegal and other parts of Ireland who away from home from 3am Saturday until 3am Sunday and rarely miss a match. The same thing happens with many English and Welsh based supporters. Surely if fans from these areas cannot afford the time or the money to travel to every home match then the club would appear to be harsh in cutting off their chance to see their heroes even if it is only by way of scratchy quality "illegal" link. Like it or not these links and foreign tv stations have proved very enjoyable to a number of fans who still do their utmost to attend Celtic matches. The same applies to very many Scottish fans from all over the country who at great difficulty and cost make their way regularly to Celtic Park every match day. I am sure the Celtic club doesn't want to upset these fine fans who through no fault of their own have to miss attending some games. However there is a feeling that there are loads of Celtic "fans" who live within a reasonable short distance of Celtic Park and who may attend once or twice a season and yet feel its their duty to vent their fury at the board, manager, and team at every opportunity. These vocal supporters could be the people who are spoiling the entertainment of Celtic fans all over these Islands.
What's the difference? Even if someone lives on the steps of parkhead and don't have the money to attend games, they can't afford it. Whether you attend every game or no games, everyone is a fan. In fighting is for Huns. Leave them to it.
We all know you're the world's greatest Celtic fan (well, second to Harry) but is there even a point to your post other than to have a go at people you don't see as proper fans (i.e those who dont go or only go once in a while) ? This is a very Medroesque arguement ... Me, I don't go to Celtic park anymore (gave up my season book during MON's second season) as I have better/more important things to spend my hard earned money on...
