There was a worry Leo when some of us came over here that it might become a small group of like minded people. It seems that slowly but steadily people from the old 606 site are joining in, along with some newbies.

You can't have it both ways. You take what comes and they will use it in what ever way they wish. How long will it be before we get a and that could start things off again?

 

Too true - OFH - and thanks for putting it back into perspective - I just got a bit peeved that a jumped up little 29 year old suggested that those who do not agree with his views were people who do not watch Watford and prefer politics.

Back from the days toils! and I can promise you being in the"jungle" is the last thing on my mind!
a would go down a treat! All my alcohol over the easter break has been Virtual!!!! as trying to cut costs to

Leo we are obviously doing something right here , because most 606ers are coming across plus other new faces.
You cant please all of the people all of the time.......and Roo proves the point, although I would apologise to him ,
on reflection I may have been a bit harsh!

I don't think I have been harsh on Roo - I resent his suggestion that he watches Watford now so can comment on Doyley etc but those of us who no longer get there have a less valid view. It is arrogant and uncalled for - what chance do you think he will apologise?

I saw Doyley for about 5 or 6 years - certainly long enough for me to form a valid opinion... and as for our talking politics - so what? - I expect he discusses other things in other forums - no he has gone down considerably in my estimation - I expect such narrow minded views from some of our WUMs - not from him

Anyone can spout off after a bad day/night etc ,Everyone makes mistakes , I still value him as a member here, and his opinions!
Where I would draw the line is the rudeness angle!

 

I have no problem with him being here and would not even consider modding him - his opinion is as good as yours or mine - but there is no need to suggest that someone else's opinion is not valid just because for example they live in Norway

I would quit here before I asked him to leave - if I could not accept someone else's opnions then what is the point of being on a forum to discuss it.

Let's see if he is less aggressive later - I could pt him on an "ignore" list - but I do not like censorship

 

No me neither , I reckon he will come back , be man enough to admit a small error of judgement and that will be the end of it
