Lets not be totally polite. notdistant what the hell has playing jonny foreigner got to do with anything? Argyle are highly unlikely to be playing anyone from outside our borders anytime soon. It is Argyle we are talking about not other teams. It is ok to play one up front thats true but not in every match. Up to now he has pretty much done that and that is where the charge comes from. We played 2 in the second half in one match where Griffiths came on and the result was there for all to see. Next game back to one again. Feeney is NOT a lone striker. He cannot play that way and be successful. Fletcher should have seen this over and over but has persisted. Mexijan, over to you and your last comment. Nobody on here has said Fletcher is to blame for everything bad and not in credit for anything good. He is responsible for all of it good and bad. I for one have said that if you kick him when things go wrong then you have to give praise when things go right. I have always given him credit and kicking using that as the mantra. He has been responsible for poor signings and for taking risks with a couple of sicknote types. He has also been responsible for a few good ones as well whether permanent or loans. He is responsible for tactics on match day. He is also responsible to be able to change them when needed and things blatantly aren't working. Sometimes he gets them spot on but from what I've witnessed, my opinion not based on newspapers, bbc reports or others, he often gets them wrong and seems incapable of changing anything. He is a novice and he obviously needs to learn as he goes. What I don't need though is to watch the demise of the club or another season of heartache and struggle. I pay top dollar to sit through dross a lot of the time. I don't boo players and like Gat I leave at the final whistle without comment to the ground even if it was pityful. There is a good deal of unrest and I would say fear that Fletcher is not the manager we need right now mostly because of his inexperience. I share the fear because I know what I see. I said earlier that I desperately want to be wrong about him and where Argyle might be at the end of the season. Maybe if we can string a couple of results together the fear will reduce but as yet he hasn't done that.

LaLaLa As regards Fletcher, there are those that think it's worthwhile to spend a considerable amount of money the club hasn't got paying Fletcher off before he's had a proper chance when almost all managers are 5 minute wonders. Then there are Mexijan & me plus Sensible up to about a week ago. That's an honest debate, albeit only Mexijan & I are right. As regards Plymborn, I'm afraid I get totally fed up with his constant, and I mean constant, sniping at the club, whether it's on the playing side or the various attempts to involve fans in the running of the club or its failure to issue minutes of fan meetings he could have attended but didn't on a Saturday night. None us have been happy with what's happened over the past 3 or 4 years, including me, but let me ask you whether you've ever heard him say anything, any single thing, that was good about PAFC or anyone connected with it? As to my recent unhappiness, I've lived & worked with people of various colours & religions. I don't much like the tone of the recent "it's like the United Nations" remarks.
You do have a short memory notDistant.........I have never been anti-James Brent....the only thing I raised an issue with was that I felt he had confirmed Carl Fletcher as outright manager so soon after taking over, and with Fletcher having shown no sign of success in the job at that time. I do feel that having inexperienced directors running the club and inexperienced team management at the same time is a step too far. Also question Fletchers retaining of certain players and some of his new squad selections....we now have a bloated squad of (27/28 ?) players, some having no obvious use to the team. If you are getting fed-up with as you say my continual sniping then be thankful that this is not ATD or even lately PASOTI........maybe I expect higher standards of management than you do......Port Vale seem to be doing quite well as they go through administration,strange that......of course you can be saved from my views by zapping me with the ignore button I wouldn't be offended.
