I was almost called Arthur! <yikes> Thank God my parents had more sense and called me Tom instead.

I remember the "we hate Bailey" chants, but not sure of the background to that.

My least favourite team also Godders. I was a young 14 year old lad at Highbury when my most disliked player, Adrian Heath, headed in at the far post in the 119th minute to knock us out the FA Cup semi-final. The country was denied seeing it's greatest one season team at Wembley that season becasue of Everton. What a team that was.

Although his name was Arthur it didn't mean a thing he went into a pet shop and ate up everything.
The doctors looked inside him to see what they could do but he had been too greedy he died just like a zoo.

Who knows where that came from and no Googling?

    He's had a baby! No he hasn't or it's a bloody miracle.

He's down the pub with his mates wetting the baby's head.

He was a rather nasty piece of work who played full back for Everton but was instrumental in Peter Osgood and Steve Williams being sent off at Blackburn when he played for them.

I was there that day when Adrian Heath broke all our hearts.

I think Lawrie was stubbon that day insisting upon playing an injured Steve Williams and leaving Alan Curtis on the bench. Everton had been crap at corners for the whole game until that moment.

Any truth about the rumour that Arsene Wenger was at the bedside with his cheque book?

    Expecting a loss, predicting 3-1.

Rodriguez will score a consolation in the 87th minute.

Team will be the sane as the one that started against Middlesbrough; I can see Fox keeping his place:

    Davis
    Clyne, Fonte, Yoshida, Fox
    Davis, Ramirez, Schneiderlin
    Puncheon, Lambert, Lallana

Reckon with the confidence back we could spring a surprise 1-3 or 2-3 win here. Here's hoping anyway.

Don't reckon we'll see too many changes from the Villa match though.

    -------------------------Lambert-------------------------
    ------Lallana------------Gaston----------Puncheon-----
    ------------Schneiderlin----------S.Davis---------------
    -----Clyne-------Yoshida------Fonte-----Richardson---
    ------------------------Gazzaniga------------------------

Subs: Boruc, Fox, Hooiveld, Ward-Prowse, Guly, Rodriguez, Mayuka.
Notable Absentees: K.Davis (dropped), Shaw (illness), Cork (injured), Lee (injured).

Going with a 2-1 Everton win; Ramirez with his first goal late to make things interesting.

Should be a reallly good game. Stop them down the left and we have more than a chance.

Completely agree. There isn't a better left hand sid ein the league than Baines and Pienaar and they're invariably involved with all Everton's attacking play. Stop them and play the game through the middle (Lambert linking up with Gastón, Lallana, Punch and Davis) and we can get somehting here. Would be a fantastic point!

Have to drop fox. I used to like the way he played but this is a game we need to stop the long cross field balls. I would play the same team as 2nd half Villa. I would like Mayuka to come in but the way Puncheon has been playing i can't justify dropping him, although i wouldn't be surprised if Adkins does bring him in.

If we can dominate midfield then i think we could snatch a draw at best.
