Just heard that under the John Lennon Liverpool Airport motto "Above us only sky" someone has written "Below us only QPR and Reading". Brilliant.
I remember years ago, an advertising hoarding in the Liverpool said "What would you do if Christ came down to earth?" Some wag had written underneath "Move St John to the right wing" Classic
There was a church in Willesden that I used to pass on the way work that once had a sign up at Christmas that said - 'A God is for life, not just for Christmas'.
Posting on Liverpool board: Brendan Rodgers has ordered his groundsmen to rotovate the Anfield pitch and plant potatoes. That way there'll be something to lift at the end of the season. I'll get my coat.......
I shagged a girl in Liverpool, she had massive fake boobs. I had to get that off my chest (excuse the pun).
Off topic again (I have a habit for this....) but it always amazes me when such a religious city as Liverpool with a huge catholic population have elevated Lennon to hero status and named an airport after him despite his most famous solo song (and the aforementioned motto taken from it) promoting aethiesm.
I've been watching that Being Liverpool dross. It's nowhere near as good as the QPR one. It's just pro-Liverpool propaganda. It's making their season into a soap opera, dramatic music and all, to try and get American fans on board with their plight (I think). It doesn't wash with me, it's too glossy and not candid enough.
