Personally I thought Stoke deserved a point from that, we were poor and couldn't break you down at all. Torres stank the place out (again) so it felt like we played with 10 men. I think Luiz should've gone, anyone can see that but to be fair he was apologetic afterward and knew he had made a rash challenge, thought Walters' reaction was a bit silly though.

Ivanovic's dive was nothing short of an embarrassment but I think people are being a little harsh on Oscar. I think he tripped up and made a bit of a meal of it, didn't deserve the stick he got though. Anyway, this sort of thing happens in football, we all get hard done by at some stage - including us! I'm sure you'll give us another tough game in your back yard.

Good luck for the rest of the season.

I'll take your comments as another wum attempt.. in short your'e a wum and we treat them with comtempt here end of!

    Drogs
Thanks for some decent/honest comments, as usual your leved headed and fair with your views. Oscars dive? All oppinions and I respect yours Drogs.

Just pleased that Walters wasn't injured, he actually tried to jump over Luiz's foot. Can't say I blame Walters though. And why did JT get involved in the aftermath arguments which resulted in a booking for Luiz? I hear that. " Because the ref saw it and gave Luiz a yellow card" The F.A. can not punish him further if they have seen it again.

Good luck for the Season Drogs <ok>
But Purley can do one! I see he's even in trouble on the Chelsea board. <laugh>

You are digging a big hole here throw the spade away before you bury yourself. Ivanovic DIVED to try and get a pen, even MOTD said as much so you are right and we are wrong? Accidental.. pft (EDIT) Or are you talking about the elbow on a Stoke player!!

Yeah like I said, Ivanovic's dive was embarrassing, don't blame anyone for criticising him but Lawro annoyed me with how much he laid into Oscar. I've seen worse! I think JT was just holding Walters back tbh, don't think he tried to get involved in an aggressive way, he seemed quite frightened of Walters tbh <laugh>

From what I saw of it, Terry was (for once) doing the right thing and breaking it up, and yes, there can be no further action against Luiz because the ref saw it, and gave a yellow. But I think (don't quote me on it) that the ref can be banned/ fined. It's a hard job they (referees) do, and banning them is too harsh, but there should be more of a penalty system for getting it wrong on potentially dangerous challenges.

I took it to mean he accidentally threw his elbow at Kightly. . .

That's fair enough.. agreed if it was accidental (the elbow on Kightly) we'll leave it at that. Good luck for the season. <ok>

It's now Wednesday and there has been no announcement from the FA so it looks as though Ivanovic has got away with the 'elbow' despite there being video evidence on MOTD.

It's ridiculous, IMO (even though a dive is a dive, and all should be punished) Ivanovic was more deserving of a card than Oscar.
