TBH I can't see Taraabt getting a look in as a true midfielder unless there are even more injuries or a radical change of tactics. Granero and Faurlin seem to be building something very special, Park is first on the team sheet and Taraabt is unlikely to be first choice for either the defensive or winger options when used. His best option is to focus on being a striker in our current set up, perhaps playing alongside Zamora. Would Hughes ever consider a cavalier 4-3-3 I wonder? That would be the perfect formation for Adel to play a full part.

Taarabt will compete for a winger spot with Hoilett when we have an easier run.

I hope hes used tonight and told to play for his place on Monday.

Yeah think Tarbs will start tonight, along with M'Bia and Diakite for match fitness and playing another Premiership side.

Win tonight, confidence will raise slightly and we can go in off the back of a win against West Ham.

    With his eyes shut....either foot!!
Seriously though...........that article is a bit misleading. Taarabt was played dreadfully out of position against Swansea, taking the ball off the back four and playing hollywood passes from his own half. That ain't Adel!! MH is to blame for that....not Taarabt.
He proved last season that he will work back defensively, so to ever select SWP or Mackie ahead of him in a home game is simply scandalous!

mmmmH?? I think Adel would have flashed his legs in all directions, and shot with the outside of his right foot hitting it before the defender even got there, but with his luck it would have hit the right hand post and gone out for a goal kick.

Our Stanley would have controlled the ball instantly, checked back in a flash around the inrushing defender sending him flying into the other 2 spurs defenders, so all 3 spurs ended up in a heap on the floor. He'd have had a laugh, lit up, and rolled it passed the keeper into the right hand corner of the net - 2-0!

Zamora on his form now, would have left footed it immediately inside the left hand post - 2-0.

    Which do you you prefer?

it would have made it 2-2 not 2-0, the more i see of that he could have just touched forward a bit & still scored with ease, tarbs first time shot.

North..I've not seen that clip before as i didnt see any of that game..

thats an apppaling miss...what was wrong with using his left foot then.

For the record, I'd be very surprised if T hadn't curled that into the bottom corner with his left boot.

    Happy now ?!! lol
