Enjoyable though it was, I really don't want this to continue too long, so a high profile team we can lose to with credit. I'd like to think the entire net receipts from last night would be given to NW for player acquisitions, if that were true(remind me, who still owns us?) then I might have a different view.
Had a brief conversationg on the QPR board about playing them in the next round which wouldn't be bad as thats where I come from and a lot of my uncles and mates support QPR so I wouldn't mind beating them. Other than them, I can't decide whether I want us to play a big team or a small team. A big team would be nice (Chelsea or Liverpool preferably) because it would give a similar game to that of Everton. A small team (Swindon, Bradford or the lesser united) would be nice just to give some youngsters a game and rotate the squad a little bit
With luck bates will be gone for next round so may benefit club, not santa's ego.Another reason to not want Chelsea is it may delay bates signing.
Any home tie would be good Preferably a big team for me. Still don't think a lengthy cup run is in our best interests, and when Pearce and Lees went down last night my heart was in my mouth because we are that fragile in terms of depth at the minute. Of course if the big T/O happens before then and we have strengthened a bit then bring em on, we're going all the way!!
Good job Everton took 5,000 last night to bump the crowd up to 20k You are not a big club anymore i suppose
Third home game on the bounce Live on Sky No reduction on admission price, as in the case of Wet Sham
so Josh I take it you support Leeds and NOT QPR because in the old days QPR were Crap and Leeds were in the old division 1 or the premier league. Just like Cheshire White neither of you are from Leeds .. ( born in Hull before you mention Scarborough )
Am I right in thinking that TV money for the league cup isn't that much? Or certainly less than for an FA Cup game? Still, every little helps. Personally I'd like Bradford at home. Would mean a big crowd and (maybe) live TV coverage?
good job crawley took a lot the den,OR THAT BIG 4,000 Millwall got wouldn't look so massive. another great own goal from tc.
Checked the FOOTBALL LEAGUE rules and you dont have to be born there. dull too much of a **** hole to stay there then ?
Check again, rule 176(subsection B), says that you must support your local team, even if they're utter ****. Though there is an exemption(Subsection D) that covers those who support a team due to their family originating from the area around the club supported.
It's a free country, I tend not to follow too many rules, and don't like to be told what I should or shouldn't be doing with my life and my spare time. If anyone doesn't like it they can **** off
you've been had modman, your dad made it up so you would go with him.Hope you've not spent too many years watching that utter **** team.
Unless you consistently say similar stuff to Hull fans you meet from Scarborough, I'll dismiss this as meaningless mouth-turd.
Which old days are those? The same old days we were in the old division 1 or the Premier League when Dull were sat in League 2? What a numpty.
