I don't know details, but pubs with higher overheads ( cities, expensive areas,etc) obviously have to charge more. Chains like Wetherspoons do, I'm told, buy up stock with a shorter sell-by date because they know they can shift it. Also, like most things, if you buy in bulk you can get it cheaper. But yes, of course they make a profit- they're not in it for fun.
My local is currently knocking out Corona for £1 a bottle. I'm currently buying 2 bottles instead of my usual beloved pint of Carling.
Do they have good prices on beer? Or just Corona? OK... I will stay clear... I was going to ask about pillow fights... but I won't... unless you want to answer that... Smoking causes baldness? Must be what's wrong with our squad... half the players have gone bald from smoking- the other half are out of breath from smoking. I expect to see Brendan passing the Hookah around to all his players in the next episode of "Being: Liverpool."
The weather is much better today, I'm pleased to say. It adds to the general 'feel good factor' following out win last night
It is much better here too, suppose to be nice tomorrow and Saturday too. Typically it is all down hill after that since I'm off on Monday and Tuesday
