I don'tknow what you do for a living but shall I say your directors made a mistake in hiring you and you've got until the weekend to improve or you're fired and Bet Fred are giving me 6/1you won't see the month out. And lets all discuss it on here!
What shall we bet on next? How many soldiers get killed in Afghanistan next Tuesday?

According to you, the long ball is more heinous than the holocaust. Get real, its only football. We need to return to the days when you turned up, paid your money, sat in the pub and work and debated it. Not court cases, not betting on failure, not singing songs about death on the terraces or in aeroplanes. End of. Cheerio.

Well said Redruth. I was beginning to think that I was the only one left who thought it was a sport and an entertainment (albeit taken over by big business ) rather than ' death to the enemy tribalism. I want Norwich to succeed because the Premiership is better entertainment and of course I enjoy it more if they win but I don't go home and beat the wife if they lose. If City go down I will still go to Carrow Road as I would if they dropped once more into Div 1 as it is part of a good day out but I hope they don't as I would rather watch City play Arsenal than Brentford. I don't ' hate ' any other team. When Norwich play Ipswich I want City to win but I don't particularly care how Ipswich get on apart from that - in fact, if anything, I probably hope they draw 5-5 as it would be good to watch on the Football League show. Unfortunately morality in betting has gone out of the window. If they can take money on it they will - I wouldn't be surprised if you could get odds on how many of our brave soldiers will be killed in Afganistan. Unfortunately a lot of this is driven by the ' tribalism ' of the fans - lose 3 games on the trot and it is the end of the world and the Manager has got to be sacked and then the betting starts!!
