Well done lads, your team seemed to want it more than ours and it was a well deserved victory, Reckon Anichebe should have had a pen at the end but that's the way is goes and 2-1 flattered us the way the match went.

Shogun the anichebe pen happens all the time n it's something that needs sorting by refs pulling n pushing in the box needs to be penalty n refs need to stick to their guns n it will stop does my head in lol

But as everyone gets away with it thought it was right not to give it.

Was annoyed when heitinga took Diouf out n we where 3 on 2 n ref didn't play advantage

 

I think if that pen was given it woulda been a very soft pen. The fact the ref didn't play advantage was annoying

 

In all honesty if by contrast, Becchio was being manhandled like that in the area, I would expect a penalty, so I do sympathise with Everton fans on that point. We did however more or less control vast periods of the game in which Everton posed little threat. Only in 10 minutes spells mid way through the second and towards the end of the second did Everton mount any sort of resistance on our goal.

All in all positive signs. We must of course however continue this form over to Bristol on Saturday. MOT!

 

Yea maybe when you look at it like that. The best thing about this game is it should give confidence especially to younger players (white, byram) for the league games

 

Think Everton should have had a penalty but prior to that they should have been down to 10 with the stamp on Diouf, was a great match though

 

The stamps showed petulance and frustration at how good Diouf was on the ball, they couldnt get it off him what a guy
