I'm glad you said that Alf. People preferring relegation to mixing it up a bit should be put down. No ifs or buts, they should be quickly and mercilessly executed.

We haven't played in a while, sure we ain't? I'm thinking the 04/05 season where we both won our home encounters? Didn't Pards bring you up via the Playoff's that year?

I like West Ham. Its a traditional Club with a big history. How do you boys feel about being portrayed as thugs in the Movies though? The films Cass and Green Street make you out to look like a bunch of Gorillas. Does it embarrass you or is it more like the Millwall line of "no-one likes us but we don't care"?
Chelsea have been portrayed similarly as of course have Millwall. I feel sorry for the majority decent fans of your Clubs when you're all lumped in with these lunatic firms.

Hullo Bazinga or whatever your name is - you do know that Dave Whelan sold JJB about five or six years ago right? And made a truckload of cash into the bargain - huzzah!

Looks like it's currently 3-1 to the empty seats too...

    4-1 to the empty seats.

Listen, since the size of crowds are so important to you can I suggest that you just miss out the football all together and maybe just go round and round on the Circle Line for a couple hours. It'll save you the ticket price and you won't have to keep getting reminded that Big Sam is rogering the life out of your footballing legacy.

well done, you beat our 2nd XI, we'll see what happens in the league, as for Big Sam only employing long ball, you really don;t know what your talking about, go eat some pies while you wait for your unemployment cheque.

I know you're hurting Miggins but come on, these cliches ain't classy. Particularly for a man whose sig line urges us all to be creative.

Some might say it was ironic..

    Glad to hear it.

Aye, the Shammers had a bad game. Their next game is against us and its one we really need to win. Its on Sky next Monday so I'm looking forward to it.

The banter is good on here right enough. Its an unusual Board in that there's only Alf Garnett and Bzzz keeping the home fires burning for the 'Ammers but, like this thread, it tends to get fans from all sorts of Clubs mixing on the one thread! Its a good refuge from the craziness that is our Board!

By the way, I asked the question on my Board "who's the only Club in England who's name bears no reference to a place?" and no-one got it until I gave them the clues "Phil Taylor and Robbie Williams"! You're sure to know the answer, up there in the Potteries. Best of luck for the season mate. <ok>

PORT VALE .... once asked my late father if he would take me too a game as Stoke we're not playing. He told me it's a myth my lad. it's actually a secret US Naval base.

That's interesting mate. Your father could have been onto summat there.

Why not? Oh let me guess, they haven't got enough history or tradition?

Every Club had to start somewhere mate. And just because a Sugar-Daddy propelled them up the leagues doesn't mean they don't deserve to be here. If that were the case then you could say Chelsea, City and even United didn't deserve to win their titles because they had such wealthy backers.

Time to climb down off that high-horse mate or you could well fall off and bang your 'ead.
