What a performance!!! Every single player played his heart out. Every single player was MOTM too, all for different reasons. Special mention though for Bruno - where did he dig that performance out of? And what an engine. You'd never guess his age or the fact that he wasn't match fit. Quite remarkable, as a certain old commentator used to say.

Really think we need to use this formation in the league now that we've lost McCormack. Let Diouf drift in from the right, and have White/Varney(if he bucks his ideas up) on the left.

It'll be tough for Peltier to get back in the team - thought Byram was absolutely brilliant tonight.

Now I remember why I put up with all the heartache of supporting Leeds. Magnificent to a man and the fans were superb. I'm sure the Bahrain guests were impressed

Rotate Pelts in the center with Lees and Pearce to keep things fresh, Byram deserves that RB position, no questions from me.

We shouldn't play this XI in the league, football doesn't work like this, and i disagree 3 subs might not have worked... would mean more extra time, maybe 6 minutes? they might have scored in that time, stupid post to be honest.

Lets be honest, guys, Byram can play anywhere he likes. Has played brilliantly anywhere we've put him. His hunger & pace make up for the wee mistakes.

A couple of years ago, who would have thought we would be saluting Warnock and Diouf <yikes>

Alright, the play this in the league was a bit tongue in cheek, but thanks for piling on anyway!

Thats exactly what I have been saying, either that or we desperately need a DM to sit infront of the centre backs

    Sounds like a plan <ok>

Peltier can cover Byram when he's injured/suspended/knackered as well.

Pugh looked fairly capable at LB tonight as well; hopefully that's not a one off, because he can cover Drury and we can continue to use White in what I think is his best position.

    Great result, great performance.

Diouf showed all his experience and all his usually wasted talent, we defended brilliantly and White and Byram showed why they are both genuine talents for the future. Agree with Jock that Byram looks like he could play pretty much anywhere he wanted, and White caused their fullbacks no end of trouble.

Performances like this tonight remind me why I'm a Leeds fan and make me ten times prouder. Been stood in a pub with Everton fans around me, watching there faces drop as mid table Leeds out play them everywhere make me love Warnock and Dioufy. If Fellani is worth 20 million what is Rudy worth?

Got to say it, I f****ing hated the sight of Brown and Tonge years ago every time they showed up for the Blades and put us to the sword, best players on the pitch - I wanted them in white then, and even too many years later they made me pleased to have them on board. Then there's Diouf - if you'd told me before the summer I'd give him the time of day, and tonight he was the classiest act on the pitch bar none. Nights like this are what being a Leeds fan is all about. MOT, whatever the f**K happens next!

I'd say Lees and Pearce showed they are genuine talents for the future as well. Brown showed he can still play a big role for us this season, and Diouf put in the sort of performance that explains why Warnock was willing to sign him after everything that's been said between them.

Now we've just got to replicate this performance in the league, and hopefully add a couple of players to the squad.

    Great first half performance.

You were lucky to get away with the second half, the ref obviously liked you.

Great team performance and result all the same.

Yep, the ref that ignored a clear advantage, several other fouls without cards and what would have been a dodgy penalty.
