Mrcello Trotta Not too surprising, Jol is reported as offerring Trotta on loan - http://www.fulhamchronicle.co.uk/fulham-fc/2012/08/22/82029-31673516/
Good to see Jol giving Trotta lots of encouragement - calling him 'a goal machine', indeed - while saying he's not ready yet. Even if Trotta is disappointed not to be getting his chance yet, there's plenty there to keep his head from dropping.
Corey Gameiro It looks as though he's going on a season loan to Eindhoven (Jol contacts?). I rate him very much but the competition is high (primarily Cauley Woodrow) so it's probably a good move at this time. Hope it all works out for him.
Richard Peniket He's being loaned to Kidderminster. Really good prospect and this temporary stint should eelp him develop http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2012/august/30/peniket-loan-deal And from his new club a small bio - http://www.harriers.co.uk//news/article/120830-richard-peniket-signs-342914.aspx?pageView=full

Here is a round up from the Club on how our current players on loan are getting on - http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2012/september/03/loan-roundup
I feel that Trotta should be out on loan preferably to a championship side. In the past I have raved about his ability, and how he should have been given a chance. but over the last year he seems to have slowed down and become very petulant. Jol recently signed him on a 3yr deal, its now tome to buckle down to some hard work, and loan him out, monitoring his ability over say a complete season. One position we should address in the transfer window is a goalkeeper,Swartz cannot go on for ever, and we at Fulham pride themselves on the great keepers that have graced the Cottage in the past. and having watched our current crop many times, apart from Jesse Joronen there is nothing to rave about.
The latest news on Marcus Bettinelli (still don't understand how he could be sub for the U21s last Sunday) and Richard Peniket - http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2012/september/05/loan-watch
Marcello Trotta If proof was needed Trotta provided Jol with confirmation in last Sunday's U21 game that he's not ready to provide first team cover. Equally with a new 3 year contract under his belt (and presumably a decent wage packet) there would be no point in Trotta hovring between the bench and occasional U21 games so he certainly going on loan. http://www.fulhamchronicle.co.uk/fulham-fc/2012/09/06/82029-31779003/ I suspect this is a 'last chance' for him and hopefully it will be to a decent Champioship team (Bolton ??).

According to the local rag Jol has changed his mind about sending Briggs, Kasami and Trotta out on loan, because he feels he needs them as cover - http://www.fulhamchronicle.co.uk/fulham-fc/2012/09/17/82029-31847713/ I guess that underlines how small our squad really is - 22 plus the 6 U21s - and the potential problem he's got with injuries. Like the weekend when 8 of the 22 were injured. Any loan, to be meaningful for the player and the club taking them, would have to at least half the season. So sensible though his decision is, it's in some ways unfortunate for the three players since their game time is likely to be limited. Most likely it will be all change again in January.
Here is the weekly update on how the players who are on loan are getting on - http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2012/september/17/mixed-fortunes-for-loan-stars
Somogyi The player has told reporters that a couple of clubs wanted him on loan but Jol turned them down, without bothering to tell him - http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/8092092 I suppose it's kind of good news but I'm still not sure why the squad needs 4 keepers. And why there are constant rumours about us trying to buy in a replacement for Schwarzer.
Marcus Bettinelli The U21's loan to Dartford has been extended for another month - http://www.kentonline.co.uk/dartford_messenger/sport/2012/september/19/marcus_bettinelli.aspx Given the comments about the 'other' squad keepers in the earlier post and that Jol currently rotates them in the U21 side, I'm not sure why it's not for a longer period.
Neil Etheridge He's gone out on loan to Bristol Rovers. So, it appears that we don't need 4 keepers in the squad and this also explains Somogyi's claim that he's the No. 3. The whole situation from top to bottom, regarding keepers is still a bit of a mess.
This week's update from the Club on how our players out on loan are doing - http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2012/september/24/clean-sheet-for-etheridge
Dan Burn The Club have confirmed that he has gone on loan to Yeovil Town - http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2012/september/25/burnloan Presumably this is to give Dan game time (and league experience) while Senderos gets back on his feet.
The player that amazes me is Marcus Bettinelli, one week he is on our bench, the following with Dartford he was our sub Sunday against Man City under 21s. Still I suppose he is getting match practice under his belt.
Matthew Briggs There is a report that Charlton have approached us to take Matthew on loan - http://www.slp.co.uk/Sport.cfm?id=33118&headline=Exclusive: Addicks interested in Fulham defender As said before probably a good thing for the lad and while a longer term deal would be more sensible, we're probably content to arrange it on a rolloing monthly basis.
