He's joined his spiritual home of Stoke. He must've been very impressed by David Luiz's tackle on Walters the other day.
Unlucky Liverpool, they played well yesterday as I thought they would. Don't think Shelvey needed to be sent off though, he was going across the player and took the ball. Valencia took a massive dive too, disgraceful.
I think Valencia's heels were clipped by Johnson, but it was exagerrated and not a foul. Never a penalty, but wouldn't say it was a massive dive either.
what was said? I saw the reports of the twitter abuse but my twitter-fu couldn't find anything, i'm guessing the comments were deleted?
god almighty, how can one comment get so much press attention. Who gives a **** what some nobody on twitter has said? Seriously? He had no voice until the press aired his comment for all to see, bravo, bravo.
Disgraceful and utterly sick. The Mousers who sent that abuse ought to be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. I hope they are named and shamed, and The Sun puts their photos on the front page of its news rag.
The law says that when Liverpool fans sing about tragedies or wish death on people via twitter it's because they have a legitimate girevance. it's only when the rest of us do it that it's the behaviour of sick and twisted animals who should have been strangled at birth.
"Some United fans kept behind after the match were, sadly, heard singing their songs about "murderers" and "victims", taken as a slur about Hillsborough. According to reports they were responding to a couple of Liverpool supporters making aeroplane gestures as a taunt about the Munich air crash. That dismal exchange happened in an otherwise empty ground," http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/sep/23/liverpool-manchester-united-hillsborough-munich Morons will be morons, and all clubs have them
Is there video proof of this? Like there is of 2000+ Mancs singing 'murderers murderers' and 'always the victim, never your fault'. Answer is no. Strange that.
I'm sure that everyone would agree that neither set of fans cover themselves in glory with those songs and the clubs should take sanctions against those singing them. For some reason the police have ignored it for years, despite prosecuting Spurs fans for calling Judas a ****. As the charge then was 'indecent chanting', I'd suggest that these fall under that bracket.
Guaranteed the ref for their next game will suddenly notice that Gerrard is a diving little bitch as well.
Suarez wasn't actually fouled, so I don't know what they're moaning about, but it's quite amusing that they've basically admitted that he's a diver. Don't judge him out past events? Why not? He's repeatedly attempted to deceive officials, so that suggests an increased probability that he'll do so in the future.
This - I'm guessing they weren't complaining when Drogba and others kept getting called for diving. I thought everyone wanted consistency and a level playing field - presumably at Anfield they want to build one with a ruddy great slope that you can rotate at half time.
Quite right. Although they should be aware Bale is a changed man and wouldn't dream of doing it again.
