Got my Sheffield Wednesday Tickets

Rang up for them today. Apparently 'cause of Hull Fair, Tiger Travel will depart from 11 at Humber Bridge carpark. it's a bit out the way isn't it? Why not somewhere near City Centre or whatever?

Anyways, who else is going?

 

I'm going to this one! First chance I've had to get to a game since Blackburn.

I'm actually hopeful of a decent turn out for this - surely with recent performances, (Leicester aside) and the usual following we take to Hillsborough there'll be a pick-up in attendance numbers.

 

Will be there as always. Win the Peterboro and Blackpool home games and i would guess a good turnout. But wont be anywhere near that tuesday night gate a few years back. Any club that takes 2-3000 away fans with them is doing well in the current economic climate.

 

agree, a lot will depend on the 2 home games inbetween, if we did manage to win both and where close to being top of the league, would fancy a big turnout..

I unfortunately can't... playing hockey again hence why I can't make most Saturday which is a bitch. Got my tickets for the Blackpool game today mind and hopefully off to Bristol City away after that!

 

My first away game since Blackburn too. Past few seasons I only did one away game per season as a uni student and basically no cash so it was normally the one closest to Xmas and go with the family, but I decided I would aim for more this year. After Blackburn and Sheffield Wed, I am thinking of Blackpool on New Years Day in whatever state I end up in, next.

Any other away games you guys would recommend? I went to Sheff Utd, Forest and Boro in previous seasons.

 

Possibly. It's only half an hour down the road from me so I'm going to see if some of the lads from uni want to try Championship football for the first time!

 

Couldn't they pick up from Ferensway like TT in the past?

I'm off x 7 others. Off for a night in Sheffield afterwards.

 

Depends how my bank account looks the week before!! Wednesday away is always a great attendance from us so I hope its no different this time!

 

Dont think so and why should it be ? Leppings Lane End holds more than we should need even if top spot looms large.

It will be a good following though. Nice KFC down the road opposite Owlerton speedway / dog stadium.

I agree. From my (admittedly limited) experience of KFC it's all bone and gristle with very little chicken.

Still, if Dutch wants to eat it that's up to him

Popcorn chicken is about all KFC are good for.

 

Agree with Ricardo. Popcorn chicken is the only good thing they do, that said, I do like it.
