Halsey is just behind Howard Webb and Lee Mason in Fergies list of bitches. He is however ahead of Fat Sam and Woy.

Interesting that Halsey has asked the police to investigate the abuse Tweets he received - which he has every right to do. The really interesting thing is that he has asked THE GREATER MANCHESTER POLICE to investigate.

I saw that, and thought it was a bit odd. I wonder where he lives? Or perhaps he was round at Sir Alex's, enjoying a bottle of fine red, when the abuse started.

If that sick sh1t has anything to do with people who purport to follow this club, they have shamed themselves and us. There is no excuse for attacking someone who has been fighting a terrible illness. They should be ashamed of themselves, vile twats.

I agree... Whether it's fans of United, Liverpool or anyone... Can't stand twitter for reasons like this.

At the risk of pissing on your bitter chips, when you report a crime you tend to call your local police constabulary. Halsey lives in Bolton.

It doesn't matter which force it was reported to. The twats want their bollocks booting for doing it in the first place. This act is beyond point-scoring football rivalry, so grow up, the lot of you.

There is no place for the behavior that Halsey has received and the culprits deserve punishing. Zero tolerance is the only way forward, **** giving people second chances, they are adults and know what is right and wrong and should know how to behave!

He's not originally from Bolton he's from Hertfordshire where the Man United and Liverpool fanbases account for c70% of the local population, equally split between the two clubs.

**** Halsey. He did'nt deserve that sort of abuse but IMO he should be punished for being a horrible cheating ****. I also think its time David Gill was removed from the fa board, he is worth at least 15 points a season for United while he is on that board and how a cheif exec of United is on the fa board is beyond me. If that was in Italy there would be calls for investigations.

FFS What's your problem and ITS_NOT_JUST_A_GAME's. Just stop taking everything as an insult and then perhaps you might just listen to what we are all saying. His performance is open to question - not his health!

Dave, I didn't take it as an insult. I thought it was a pretty silly comment to suggest that it was "interesting" that he'd taken his complaint to the GMP. Looking for a controversy that isn't there.

actually the controversial view would be that halsey left shevely off with gesticulating after 2/3 fouls and could have booked him well before. had he done so shelvey would not have dived in there and not got sent off.

I find the whole conspiracy theories rather pathetic and are merely peoepl not being psycholocially willing to accept that thier team is not good and someone elses is better/more profesional/better at getting decision.

    facts;

kawaga hit the deck in his own half 4 times and got 4 frees, easy cheap ones that were just like hamann used to get for us... conspiracy nut sees halsey favouring utd.

Lfc mess up, managed to crock agger, leave utd 3 on 2 and when valencia nearly messes it up by failing to play the simple pass and jonhson knocks him odwn... halsey is favouring utd... yet when saurez goes for a dive over in the box and gets no card (unlike some refs) no mention...

Shelvey mouths off and the ref is on his case, he dives in 50/50 with evans who's not done anything in the game... evans rolls about faking it while shelveys up mouthing again... result red for the mouth piece in a tight decision... again conspiracy nuts go mad...

In short Utd are very good at playing for every advatnage possible and thats all part of the game. whereas suarez for example bitches and moans all the time and get up every refs nose to the point where its nearly certain he'll get a yellow most matches for either falling over or mouthing now.... the utd players are not half bad at doing it at the right time.

we need to very badly get over the thought that he fa, refs and utd are all conspiriing and focus on playing the game properly week in and week out. mouths closed, smiles for the ref, make them feel comfortable and on our side then roll over and play dead (not theatrics just hold you leg and stay still please) the results will come!

And this, MITO, is the problem. When we're considered to be our own worst enemies because we're babes in the wood compared to United at 'controlling' the ref, and being infuriated that the ref is therefore rightly in their pocket, you ma as well have an open auction before the game for the referees favours. Perhaps they could do it on Friday and Saturday nights on live telly in tandem with the National Lottery, with fans pledging money via dedicated telesales volunteers and features on how our money has improved the lives of top level referees.

hell, they could even give some of their backhanders to good causes and be taxed on it, then everybody wins...
