Just been looking about on the free transfer list posted up before and came across Emiliano Insua's name. Apparently he has expressed his desire to play for Liverpool under Kenny Dalglish and was registered as part of the squad for the remainder of this season despite being out in Turkey. Reason being Galatasaray coach didn't want loan players in his squad.

Info I picked up on Wikipedia (I know it's not always reliable)

Wouldn't mind it being true and him returning to Merseyside and us keeping hold of Jose!!

That's Taiwo to Milan and Insua to Liverpool, how can we throw Bayern off the scent of Jose?

    M'Bengue?

Say to Bayern, we'll only give you Jose if you give us Gomez... should put them off, and if it doesn't then we get a canny striker out the deal :)

We should just do that to Liverpool, say that its an exchange for one of their top players or no deal. That way we get a free, top player or scare them off.

True... who'd you ask for? Joe Cole looks like he's off in the summer anyway, so they might offer us him or one of their kids, wouldn't be overly pleased with either.
Wouldn't mind Maxi, Kuyt or Skrtyl.

I actually dont know who I'd want, for all their good form there arent many players of similar quality to Enrique we could realistically ask for. If Enrique said he wanted to leave I think I'd ask for Kuyt/a youngster/Agger and 6mil (bearing in mind Jose's out of contract).

Try asking for that Andrew Cowell youngster I heard they have coming through the ranks? Heard he's decent. Bit of a prick though

Yeah, add Agger to that list, he's decent and has hellish tattoos!

How about Suarez and that Martin Kelly! I would take that as long as we could get Van Aanholt from Chelsea for cheapish as well.

Both would be great but unrealistic to ask for really, Kelly will probably be in the England set up eventually and Suarez doesnt need explaining.

Yeah I agree that its unrealistic, but if they are taking one of our best players then we should be able to take 1 (or 2) of theirs.

True, maybe we should really test them and demand Kelly?

Solid RB who can play CB, still young, widely tipped to be in the England set up in a season or two.

This. From what I have seen him play he is very good. I'm sure I saw someone else play full-back for them against Chelsea (can't remember his name though) who also looked a good talent.

Might have been John Flanagan, another good young one but I think it was his senior debut, so not really tested much yet.

Yeah that sounds right. Yeah it was his senior debut but he is also ranked amongst the Liverpool supporters too. Kelly I think would be a good shout. Competition for both right back and centre back!

They also have Robinson as well, who plays at LB.

We could go all out and offer Jose for Flanagan, Kelly, Robinson and Spearing. 4 top young players to give our squad a massive boost.

I've heard Liverpool also have a talented young striker. Can't remember his name. Long-haired tall chap. Andy Carrell, Corroll, something like that. We might be able to get him as part of a deal...
