It looks ****ing awful, like they've tried as hard as they can to make it look like the Emirates.

I personally like it, it would never happen but it looks more modern without looking like a ****ty European stadium

The shiny stands are alright, but the glass fronting can **** off. Makes it too open plan and generic-looking.

So long as someone leaves enough sunlight to get in to ensure the grass grows okay, unlike those who planned the new wembley.

Given that this is actually pretty poor 3D visualisation, it was either knocked up in an afternoon to show that they have been working with Leeds, or it's really, really old.

It looks good, shame it's the furthest from what we need right now.

Well the pictures they have for the new York City FC stadium are the ones currently been developed so that's quite positive? Could be something in this, but may possibly be a clause its ones Leeds United are promoted.

Did the club release any plans of stadium upgrades when it was decided Elland Road would be one of the venues used if England won the bid to host the 2018 World Cup?

"DLA have worked closely with Leeds United over a number of years assisting with their ground improvement programme.

Schemes developed previously on the Elland Road site have included a new West Stand & works to unify the appearance of the existing stadium."

Yes, it was planned that there would be an extra 15,000 seats put into the stadium and this would be covered by the FA or whoever was covering the rest of the stadium upgrades. The works that has been done recently to the East stand was something the club promised if we got the World cup but Bates went through with it anyway (probably the reason it was promised was because he had already planned to do it)

Imagine what our current 19k Tuesday night crowd would look like in a 54k stadium. Could probably fit them all in the new kop and have other three sides empty

Why spend money on redevelopment when the club don't own the stadium?
