Oneil will assemble a team over a few transfer windows rather than over a few months I'm busy reading Peter Taylors book called with Clough at present. Oneil adopts their style, and the correct players are bought when they become available. If anyone doesn't have the patience to come along for this ride then I suggest they go and support Man City
I have the patience kidda (40 years brings that) but it just concerns me that we may have to take a step back to go two forward though and thats not going to sit well with the faithful?
Think most of us have the patience mate it's just a few seem to be lacking a bit on that front. It took the barcodes to go down to sort themselves out, as you say one back for two forward. Not saying we are doomed (that's next weeks big thread) but, I can understand where the doubters are coming from I think they are wrong mind but, there you go.
I don't think it is actually doubters Talc mate. More to do with frustration at having some of the best players many of us have seen for a long time and being frustrated that they aren't killing teams off. Which TBF we should be more than capable of. Playing to hold what you have got, is always risky even for the top teams. I honestly think a couple of wins under our belts and we will see a completely different attitude.
I honestly think a lot of the negativity is just pure frustration. Like when I made a total tit out of myself on Saturday night.
We are playing badly and not winning games, who is going to score a goal other than Fletcher ?, this is an appauling senerio, we have Johnson, Cuellar, Cambell and now Larsson hit with the injury jinx we had two seasons ago, we have players saying they are not in their form at the minute so it adds up to if we do not beat Wigan, we may end up with the start Bruce had last season, and as for getting above Newcastle that ended in the 94th minute at WHU.
Is this May 1st today? Did I just miss 30 games? This bloke is so obviously a mag its embarrassing and yet not as embarrassing as the person himself, pretending to be a Sunderland fan, just to post ****e like this.
Agreed mate but, SAFC have done exactly the same for years except under Reid when instead of sitting back we actually had a go at teams and surprise surprise it worked.
