Form the BBC report: "Three points against his former club will have pleased Foxes manager Nigel Pearson, and the margin of victory could have been even greater."
OLM dont you find it boring setting up so negatively all the time. Playing 5 across the back, miles too defensive for my liking You spent most of the game camp into your own half and because of it when you did get the ball there was no one forward to break
Is that a serious question? You've been on our board for the past week, you've had our fans on your board all week, telling you how attacking we've been in recent games. Obviously it didn't work yesterday, but even someone with your limited understanding of the English language must be capable of realising that it's working most of time? You think we scored eleven goals in our previous three games without getting out our own half? Seriously?
Couldnt care less what you tell me Im telling you what I seen with my own eyes. You never got forward in numbers and your attacking players all looked very poor. Koren was too busy chasing Knockaert's shadow. Aluko is still sitting in Danny Drinkwater's back pocket. Simpson looked a donkey, the Hun still cant score and Evans was shocking It doesnt matter if it was or wasnt your day. Your never really tested us, even ask the Bobby Moore of defending in James Chester. I think he was in awe of Nugent As for sticking a few past Millwall and Leeds. Both well known for having solid defenses
What the Hell has Proud's grasp of English got to do with his football knowledge? Being a snob won't win you the argument. Yes, you're formation has been a success but, as you'll recall, I questioned your previous competition. The best two sides you've played have beaten you.
I do hope Knockaert and Marshall will play well at the same time. Hope we don't get a Demba Ba and Papiss Cissé thing going on (my housemate's a Newcastle fan so sorry for the analogy).
As should have we, played great against them and we were disallowed a clearly legal goal, and then they scored soon after.
Fair point, but my statement still stands. Perhaps Blackburn will be like QPR a couple of years ago. Played off the park every week, but strong enough (mentally and psychically) to still win most of their games.
Blackburn don't deserve to be where they are at all. They should be below Wolves and Bolton performance wise. I hope they don't do a DQPR...
We were very poor against your lot, Pearson did his homework, stopped us playing our regular style and stopped players such as Aluko and Elmohammedy from making an impact. But the previous 3 games show that unless you have the players and the manager to stop our formation, we are a very dangerous side to play.
You should be worried that that SB had no other plan beside stick the big German up front when we nullified your formation - playing the same way all the time means that it is easier to find weaknesses and attack them like we did.
But in fairness it also nearly worked. Remember we have Fryatt to come back from injury too, and we had McLean to come on if needs be. Olofinjana still to come back from injury - who IMO we have dearly missed - to give us our control and creativity back in midfield. He will have a plan B but it's hard to execute that plan when the players aren't there.
Yeah, Evans cannot be used as an anchor player at all and that showed in the match. He's so weak and doesn't pick the right pass at all. We looked lost in midfield without Oli, even the first 20 mins of the L**ds game, Evans was at fault for most of their attacks, giving away sloppy passes or spending too long on the ball and being caught in possession.
Have you lowered his wages or something? I thought he was frozen out like Bullard a few years back. Or was that down to Mr. Thrift? (Pearson)
