http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...ols-clash-with-manchester-united-8167443.html Disgraceful from some Liverpool fans. No need for it whatsoever.
No need at all. Referring to his cancer makes the ****ing crook a martyr. Dreadfully bad taste andIi hope they're banned and prosecuted. Hope Falsey is caught too.
I don't think Halsey will be reffing for a while. He has to stop walking like John Wayne first, his poor bum is severely swollen.
The main problem with the internet is that people are faceless on it. See the people from Newcastle who apparently sent racist tweets/made racist facebook comments to Shola Ameobi/Sammy Ameobi for no reason. Or the person who abused Tom Daley. Or the people who abused Anton Ferdinand. The other problem is that people can react to news and things that happen instantly on it, you usually take time to calm down if you're not on the internet but when you can post something straight away you often see the worst side of people when they are at their angriest.
Rarely agree with Steve Claridge on the Monday night club (Radio 5),but he was right in his assessment of Shelvey's red card incident. Basically said that Evan's challenge was as dangerous,if not more dangerous than Jonjo's and could not understand the ref's decision. Well done Steve Claridge
They think they're faceless but when they go a step too far they find out that they are actually very traceable! Halsey has made a formal complaint to the police.
I agree, but its curious that Halsey has complained to the greater manchester police? Why? Either because the tweets were sent from Manchester or because the Manchester police are his local police force. Either way, it raises a lot of questions.
He lives in Bolton. I assume when he called the police non emergency number it would have put him through to GMP. Or he visited his local station, again run by GMP. Not sure how that raises many questions?
Let's see how this one unravels as the day progresses. Should make for interesting reading, no doubt Sir Alex will be to blame!
This is correct, and no questions are raised. I've just made the point in another thread that whoever has done this and purports to follow LFC has shamed themselves and us. Cancer is a terrible illness and no-one should use it against someone who has been fighting it. Some people need to have a reality check. Banter is one thing. Sick sh1t is quite another. I hope they're traced and dealt with.
The press are pathetic, why bring one ****ing comment up? who cares what some mindless and faceless numpty has had to say on Twitter?? He's entitled to his opinion, just ignore the ****ing cretin.
Seriously Red? Dealt with how? Prison sentences for a bloody cheap remark about cancer? Halsey wouldn't have even known about it if it weren't for the press, it wasn't like it was mailed to him. What is the world coming to, ****ing police state.
Did I say prison? A smack in the bollocks wouldn't go amiss. Clearly you've never known anyone who's suffered with cancer. I just can't believe that anyone would be driven to make a remark of this nature based on a football match. The world's gone fu.king mad.
The media are focusing on the minority of idiots instead of the majority of fans from both teams that behaved well on Sunday, it simply sells better. I've just chosen to mainly ignore all the mud slinging as this is what the hacks wanted.
I have Red, unfortunately. My remark about prison comes off the back of other Twitter comments and the heavy handed way they are dealt with. People can be scum, no more so on Twitter, but it wasn't as if he tweeted kiddy porn or something. Telling someone you wish they were dead is hardly something the government can get involved with. At the least it warrants a ban from Twitter. Hell we've had worse on bloody Not606!!
I've already commented on this. The other business is new, so I'm giving my opinion. Both are bang wrong and have no place in football. Full stop (period for Bluff).
