But, as we've discussed several times, Mauled by the Tigers really isn't gay at all. It's meant to be a joke, taking the piss out of a defeated opposition. It's also really unique. Simply stating that the keeper is **** (especially when he's really not) with no funny twist or anything is just gay and the massive buil-up 'oooooh' just makes it a cringeworthy thing that would look more suited to an American sports match. Everyone knows that 'chant' and has heard it before, but only Leicester make a thing of doing it religiously every game.

Had a stroll in downtown Leicester before the game.

Some quite nice parts in their centre.

I got to wondering if Adolf targeted this strategic hosiery centre in WW2 and concluded it wasn't worth the effort, hence its well-preserved condition.

Actually Kempton ... I quite like your mauled chant ... and I know that it is ironic ... but it is also ironic that a supporter of the team with that ritual should single out any other chan etc as being the 'gayest'...... the 'your ****' chant goes back many many years to one game where an opposing keeper was having a bit of amare ... the kop at Filbert street then took the piss at his next goal kick and sure enough he shanked it ... it was funny at the time and then became a bit of a ritual for opposing keepers ... it is done in hope that the opposing keeper will be put off .. which they rarely are given the acoustics at The Walkers .. now at Filbert street it was very different ... but old habits die hard ... hopefully the more mature of our fans don't bother ... but footie fans don't need high IQs ... as City Agro often demonstrates

That's an amazing story- thanks for sharing it with us!

Behave yourself Filberto, half the clubs in the country do that 'your ****' chant at keepers and it's painfully embarrassing at every club that does it. As is the Poznan, having a fat twat with a drum and having goal music.

You've lost in the lottery of life, my Leicestershire chum.

You chose the worst team in the East Midlands to support- the charisma-free club from Blandsville.

Point <ok> I never really got the gay thing anyway, not for a chant. It's not as if we're all wearing tight little shorts and a leather waistcoat. What's gay ? Do me a favour and ask Fallen used to be,what gay is.

    You ask questions?

To be honest, I've never seen you post anything of interest on either board, you're the message board equivalent of wallpaper.

My reminiscing still stands ... but I will admit that I find it embarrassing ... don't mind the Poznan ... and whilst I'm not in favour of 'bands' or drums personally ... if he is prepared to do it ..... now the goal music, of any kind, I'm with you 100% ...
