http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/8107106/ Wouldn't surprise me if true - he's too good and steady a player not to be playing imo and a good, solid Championship defender! - I guess we'll see how true this rumour is come teamsheet tomorrow night Thoughts?
I like Danny Butterfield. Good defender. He can ping a long pass too, the quality of which Danny Fox can only dream about. For me, it's actually very close as to who plays between Richardson and Butterfield, with Richardson just shading it, but with Clyne in there, that makes him third choice. Go and get some regular play Danny. After tomorrow night, of course.
Seems a bit strange as he signed a new contract in the summer as Adkins said he was good for the dressing room.He must have known he would not play too much when he agreed to the new deal but then again Barnard signed one last year too.
Like Butterfield but doesn't surprise me. It looks like some players who started most games last season aren't certain to play for us this year, so little chance for fringe players.
Birmingham signed Paul Robinson (Former Bolton and West Brom one) on a one month deal, which makes it slightly more unlikely that they will sign him.
