Away from Swords and his Chelsea tendencies - best chant of the day for me was when the Spurs fans started the really slow hand and finger fluttering 'oh when the spurs- go marching in..' - and the whole rangers end stood and gave a quick loud version of Oh when the R - Go marching in - which drowned them out and stopped them singing!!

The is this a library chant has now also sadly been relevant 2 years running at WHL.

Closing the thread in view of Swords' undeniable racism and in case anyone has any equally mindless 'Paddy-isms' ready to hit back with.

Not deleting it though so it's always available as an example of crass stupidity.

Swords has PM'd me to say he's on a self-imposed ban for a week or so. In that time NUTS and I will consider the need for that to be made permanent. Much truth spoken in jest is my initial response. Some of that truth includes Spurs fans, Jewish or otherwise, inviting racism by openly associating themselves with what is often seen as a term of abuse.

I've never tolerated racism (my own included) and have called on people on here to self-moderate - if only to save us mods all the hassle of clearing up the mess every time a numpty writes bollocks for effect.

If anyone wishes to offer a defence for Swords actions and a plea for him to continue as part of our board, please PM both QPRNUTS and me. As things stand I doubt there'll be much need for me to clear my inbox to save congestion.
