Once the smack problem goes away, the women and the footy will gradually get better!

Napoleon is a bit of a damp squib to be honest, Empire is the much better game. I played all the campaigns in Napoleon in 120 hours which is simply far to short for a game of it's "supposed" depth.

May just go for empire then, which is promoising as it's the next one and the laptop has no trouble at all running Medieval 2

Civilization BTS is the dogs nuts. 6 years on I'm still playing a single player game once a week... which takes about 10 hours to complete.

Mariokart on the Wii is the Ultimate Mick.

I liked the SNES one too, and at the time, thought it was immense, but the one one the Wii is ****ing amamzing.

BTS is amazing! They finally made the AI a bit more human-like and the whole game just feels more balanced.

Edge Mario kart on Wii is for 12 year olds!

I only played AoE a couple of times but I hammered the original Civilisation a fair bit. Speaking of strategy games, did anyone ever play UFO? Some people slagged it off because it was turn based but I loved it.

Yep I played that, it was a rehash of an old Spectrum Game called "Rebelstar Raiders" from around 1986.

    Pretty good in it's day.
