Mars bars and kit kats were given a name. Does that mean they have been christened? Does confectionery believe in God?:emoticon-0107-sweat

    Yes, they were.

Etymologically, the name Christening comes from people being given Christian names - i.e named after a saint.

However, the word christening has come to mean any naming of something or any naming ceremony - ships get christened and anything which is given a name is "christened"

Having water poured over your head by a man in a dress is a baptism.

Only my first child was baptised (against my will) but all three were christened <ok>

Saturday game was against club 12 , hence the Reason 4000 season tickets holders were missing asked to pay £29 to watch Dundee instead of Rangers .You could see three division 3 games for that amount !!!. Instead of attendances this season , it should be money generated at the turnstiles .Rangers v Montrose 450,000 Celtic v Dundee over a Million . The reason Celtic will always be the top club in Scotland .

Hmmm. "Christening" is the giving of a Christian name at baptism. It might have been corrupted to be a synonym for naming something or somone in general but only in western or christian countries. I doubt very much a boat is "christened" in Afghanistan or China.

Denial, Denial, does i ever end Trevor first denies he was ever called a name, when that is proved to be idiotic. Trevor just as
idiotic claims not to be a hun. Trevor the more you hang around with the elite the worse you will be called.
Trevor's fellow huns, including most of the print media try to compare the Sevco's fans attendance records with the Celtic's.
I am not sure of the significance because Sevco playing fourth tier football at half price admission has a novelty affect. The
fact that many who attend Sevco's home games doubt that Sevco will see the season out and want to be able to tell their
grand-children "I was there" The most remarkable figure was that for one Sevco tv match there was reported 50,000 approx
more viewers than a Celtic tv match. Quite simply hosts of Celtic fans and other elite SPL fans viewed for the laugh factor,
times or bad in recession hit Scotland, do no one could be blamed for trying to have a laugh at the Sevcos attempts and
    failures to beat part-timers.

Picture on KDS of complimentary ticket for Family section of Ibrox last Saturday. Some claiming that there are free tickets for tonight's game being given away.

If true, is Chuckie actually playing a game whereby rfc fans are conned into thinking that loa of people are paying for games. Wonder if there is more to come out about this. Anybody know?

I wouldn't put it past him. The fact they're 'breaking records' re the crowds, gives the hoardes something to be positive about ergo they'll spend money/support Sevco.

The guy should be knighted <laugh>

    Playing them like a fiddle.

Thought motherwell would win about 3-0 to be honest. I also expected them to try and exploit the rangers weakness down the wings but they have played into there hands.

This is a match between 2 full time mediocre football sides.

One manager is a rangers <peacedove> legend, the other is a rangers 'legend'.

It isn't difficult to work out.
