Except its Blackpool at home.. SB said post match that it wasn't just the system but they fact we had no energy - put it down to a game too far, two tough away games inside a week.
Getting beaten can often bring more information to the team on how to strengthen than limping through a few draws ans close wins and being afraid to change it. The way we've played up until today shows the skills are there, now plans c, d and e can be woven in.
Aye, bet Chapeltown was a great place to be, when it kicked off the other summer during the riots. Don't remember much going on in Hull though.
You really can't take the piss out of anyone else when you're just another distant, glory-hunting Leeds 'fan'.
A result like today probably comes at the right time if anything to keep peoples heads on the ground and realise that they have got to work hard and not get carried away. Better to lose a few now than a few later in the season which could prove critical during the run-in. Hopefully people won't start slating the likes of Evans who has had no football at all, we will need the likes of him later in the season when injuries and suspensions kick in.
Of course you aren't from Leeds, you are a Leeds fan. I imagine most people from Leeds follow Guiseley or Wakefield FC.
That's just so funny .On my way Leeds I drive within 15 miles of Everton,Liverpool 5 of man city and can see Old trafford. All for the glory of league 1 and the championship. You should know all about glory hunters -------------------------------------------- At Boothferry Park (all senior competitions) 553 v Chester City, Auto Windscreens Shield 1st Round North on 10 December 1996 At Boothferry Park (league only) 1,755 v Torquay United, Division Three on 20 November 1996 -------------------------------------------- as stats say most Hull fans have only appeared in the PREM/LEAGUE and 5,000 gone already. Where do you think they came from ?.I suspect local Leeds,Mancs,Liverpool,Chelsea. Have a look around next game! I'm sure you all saw the [premier league tiggers] but not many saw the division 4 tiggers.
I leave it to others to point out the gaping great holes in that ****e you presumably offer as some sort of an argument. I was just going to delete it as it's absolutely **** all to do with anything, pretty much like you really. As a point of information to those bothering to reply to him, I think this scouse bumpkin is not a fan of TWS at all, but a troll posting as one to make them look even thicker and more boring than normal.
...and your local teams Crewe, Stockport and Wrexham? do so well. it's easy to pick a team to support when they are winning. as you know so well
This bloke can only be youngish. He doesnt rememberthe late 60s and early 70s when the club were getting bigger home gates than we ever had in the Premier league. We then fell on very bad times and over the years people stopped going. Yes, we fell to the very bottom and as a result the gates did too. He needs to look at that picture because if no one comes in and buys his club then the same thing could and may had happen at Leeds. Just get over the fact that we are now Yorkshires top team, maybe only for a while, but your great days are long since gone.
You mean like the 20K+ that bothered to turn up to the high profile matches against the likes of Hartlepool, Swansea & Oxford in the bottom division. We can all cherry pick the facts and figures we want, to make our argument sound good.
To be fair, if his intention was to make a good argument, he failed miserably. If, on the other hand, his intention was come across as a complete clueless dickhead, then he did rather well.
obviously not 1 of the loyal 500 then dog, another glory hunting plastic. obviously hit a raw nerve with the 95% of you that are ex mancs,Chelsea,Liverpool and Leeds.
You really are a ****ing ******. **** off and support Barcelona, they get bigger attendances than us and play better football than Leeds. If you're going to pick a random team that you have no affiliation with, it might as well be a decent one.
Brilliant. As Leeds fans continually remind us, in terrible double-negative English, that "we've never won fook all" then please explain how we could possibly by any stretch of the imagination be called 'glory hunters'?
Come back when you've thought of something funny to say, you're an embarrassment to Leeds.................and Cheshire.
A fair summary: http://www.hullcityafc.net//news/article/bruce-leicester-a-reaction-386392.aspx?pageView=full Don't think the conditions helped our game. When Proschwitz came on he gave us a bit of aerial threat and we could have sneaked a draw when his header was cleared off the line. But on the day I think we deserved to lose. Anyway, onward and upward. Want to see a positive reaction against Peterboro.
