The mysterious duo don't exist, there were hundreds of Utd fans that had camera phones(probably a few with digital cameras), Sky cameras around the ground and the clubs CCTV cameras. The 'we only did it because they did it' excuse is ironic, like they were acting as victims and it wasn't their fault.
What about you lot booing Evra all game for being racially abused? Horrific double standards. Always the victim never been truer.
Yep, change the issue. A huge proportion of United's fans (not a handful at all) are caught on camera singing Hillsborough songs. The cry immeadiately goes up "Their fans were doing airplane 'gestures'". All we've asked, so we can identify and make an example of the miscreants, is the evidence for this. So now the evidence is that our fans booed Evra - something they've done since well before last season, btw, because he's a diving, cheating, ref-pestering nark who even claims 'racism' when he loses the toss before the game. If this evidence is still unforthcoming tomorrow will you also point out that we sung 'We won it five times' and booed Evans too as good reasons for United fans' songs?
Booing Evra who was racially abused, singing about having a party when Thatcher dies, doing plane gestures. Hardly got the moral high ground here. So as has been said many times before, both sets of fans have their idiots.
So now reports that Liverpool fans have been posting personal abuse and death threats to the ref on twitter. Now we know that this is a small minority on twitter making these posts so the sooner some of the Liverpool posters on here stop trying to make out all United supporters are bad because of a few chanting songs, the better.
I haven't said 'all Utd supporters are bad' Alan, i take issue with the 2,000 that blamed somebody else for their actions without any proof that the 'two' Liverpool fans allegedly making gestures exist.
Forgive me for being awkward, but where is the video of the Liverpool fans making aeroplanes? Not that I don't want to believe you, but there is a history of people making up stuff about us. So once I see the video, I will believe this late addition to the story.
The proof will come as my mate who was also at the game has also confirmed that some liverpool fans (15-20) stayed behind but i dont expect any of you to believe me that the aeroplane gestures did happen but those on blogs, forums, twitter have all said the aeroplane gestures happen. Sky will do their digging with recordings and Liverpool will have cctv of the area.
Alan Sky would have shown the mysterious two by now if they actually existed, their cameras were on when the sick chants were made so its logical to believe they were on before, so why no video or pictures of the airplane gestures?
The 15-20 is probably an exaggeration on my part but my mate told me it was a few fans and i quote a "handful". You dont think its odd that the video only lasts for 20 plus seconds and the area where the camera was located only showed the angle where you cant even see the full area where the fans were located. Why don't sky show the camera recording say 30 seconds before the fans started chanting this and 30 seconds after they stopped singing these chants.
I personally won't celebrate Thatcher's death. Because she is so out of it she is probably unaware of the situation and won't know it's happening.

OK, but "always the victims, it's never your fault" isn't aimed at "2 fans". Had they chanted "**** off" together then yeah, it wouldn't be a story. But they didn't. They chanted a song that wasn't supposed to be sung ever again, let alone today. I have yet to see proof that one or two Liverpool fans did run over and make those gestures, but i've seen disgusting proof of what sounds like a few hundred voices singing "always the victims, it's never your fault". That being said if those 2 fans are found to have done it, find em, fine em, ban em and shun em. Were the chants coming from any other club the media would be making this into a story for the ages, they would vilify whoever sung it. As it is, it's being pushed under the rug. Anyone who sings things like that be it Hillsborough or Munich should be put into the stocks in their respective rival cities. Then we'd see how many would find it funny or fair game to sing about.
I don't buy this one bit! I posted Saturday that 'That' song would be sung and the claim from every Man Utd fan would be "We did it in retaliation" They don't even have the courage to stand by their conviction! We all knowthe press wold have taken great delight in highlighting the disgrace of every Liverpool fan whilst showing '2 fans' makign aeroplane gestures. We all know the press love to show anything that would put us Kopites in a bad light so why don't they come out and ow the footage of the 2 fans? Because there isn't any footage. Who are these 'witnesses' that claom to have seen these 2 fans acting like twats and 'provoking' those poor United fans? Why doesn't Alan's 'Mate' post the video footage on line someone for all to see - This way we could get action taken against these 2 fans Why not? Because it never happened! And the sad thing is, in defending the actions of a couple of thousand united fans, you are actually condoning such behaviour and in my mind, you have no place in the LFC board and would not be saddened if the MODS issued an outright ban. Want to prove me wrong? Show me the proof and I will be the first to write to Liverpool FC asking for immediate action be taken against those 2 fans!
Agreed, I can't understand how 2 people could outsing 2000+. Why there is more of an issue being made about those 2 people, than there is about the 2000+ in the away section?
