I have watched it, cringe worthy stuff. Hard to pick out the number though.

    Anyway http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896...lauded-despite-reports-of?source=breakingnews

Goal is a ****e source but overall Liverpool were happy with both sets of fans.

Good idea. The police can check if a complaint is made.

They can also follow up on the munich gestures and other things reported by various sources.

During the 90 mins I heard nothing (from the sofa!) and it looked great.

Reality was sadly different. That source seems to have come from a person who'd left before then!

United fans for a few moments early on chanted 'wheres your famous munich songs'

Evra was booed throughout and Suarez was given loads of stick but all in all nothing much.

I can handle the Suarez/Evra stuff, but not the rest.

Something has to be done imo. We're at the point where we dont let our away fans visit each other.

It's amazing really. This is football for god sake, but its gone mad.

Yep. We cant be banning them but we need to make examples of them to make future fans less likely to take part.

Like in a mod, find the ring leaders so to speak and punish them. If that doesnt work or their are no clear ring leaders then perhaps fines for the clubs which the clubs then pass on to the fans for the next game.

Basically if you sing these songs or make these gestures then the next ticket will cost double. The normal price and a fine on top.

Might make the decent fans say 'oi, pack it in' a little more often.

Of course they should be banned if anyone is found singing these songs. A little harsh maybe but if the clubs did threaten those who sing these songs with lifetime bans then this chanting would stop pretty soon.

The thing is it could be dealt with pretty easy.

As has been said. A few life time banns would do the trick. Keep handing them out and it would soon stop.

Can't see it happening - and the FA havent got the balls to sort it out.

They did their show of strength with Suarez. That's about it.

Loads of praise for United fans from Liverpool fans interviewed after the game and Liverpools managing director.

Ian Ayre was very complimentary about both sets.

Posted this awhile back, think it got drowned out.

In regards to the slowmotion bit, I meant Shelveys looked worse live, on slowmotion Evans did. Justly a red card. On the penalties, I meant what I said.

And on the fans, it's frustrating to me that fans (even a small amount) would resort to that after losing, trying to provoke the away fans after losing if that did happen. And it annoys me that the away fans responded in that way. Total bullocks.

I do have to say, Manchester supporters, along with all other teams, have been very supportive and I think the reverse would be true if (god forbid) anything like that ever happened again. Hopefully this doesn't marr the past few days.

My point entirely. I agree that United fans before the game were fine (I have NO problems with them singing 'Yernited' during YNWA, it wasn't a silence, ffs). No problems with them singing anti Suarez songs and "Going down" and that stuff. But IF, and even if it was just a "couple" of fans in the Main Stand doing airplane gestures there WILL be video evidence and they should be banned for life and named and shamed - no excuses or half measures, banned for life, given the enormity of the situation, and Mark Falsey's diabolic performance is absolutely no excuse either. It's a slur on the 96 to even use it as reason, a bit like that dick who shoved Neville a few years back trying to use Hillsborough in his defence...:emoticon-0145-shake

But by the same token, and even IF that happened, the divvies that responded, or as many that can be identified, deserve the ame fate. And can we get this ridiculous myth that the "Always the victims" song was made up for the Suarez incident? Suarez signed in Jan 11 - United have been singing that song for over two years to my knowledge. There were gobshites in my pub in York singing it when we had the 2 minutes silences at all Prem games to mark the 20th anniversary of Hillsborough.

Not saying it was thought up just about Hillsborough, but it's certainly been going longer than the Suarez - Evra affair,

Watching MOTD and former Liverpool player Mark Lawrenson doesnt agree with many of you on any of the decisions.

    Both do.

Coming from Lawro it means nothing- I don't know if Lawro tries to over compensate- but he always picks calls against Liverpool. He's always one of Liverpool's most vocal critics.

man what a **** day. Once again bossed a game, even with 10 men, and came away empty handed. Still can;t finish and lost 3 players to injury today ( 2 fora long time with not much cover).

    **** day.

And 'ex Man U Gary Neville' said Evans should've been sent off. So, dumbass, whats your point here?

Stick to the Man U board in future, for the sake of everyone on the Liverpool board.

I thought the ref was ok but he wasnt ten out of ten as MOTD suggests.

They are right about the red and the 2 Liverpool penalty shouts but wrong about ours imo.

1-1 would of been a fair result but you know,

As he just said "We see Evan's get his toe to the ball" when we've clearly seen on Sky a close up of him playing Suarez's foot without touching the ball, i take that with a pinch of salt. Lazy bastard just glossed over that, as he did with the fact that it again confirmed Evans had both feet off the ground during the sending off, no matter where his ****ing eyes were pointing.

Lawrenson was a boyhood United fan too.

The bias shown by the bbc tonight was disgusting. Totally ignored van persie challenge. Actually have some respect for Neville had most of the decisions correct.
