No mate, Rooney is still in the England team it's Terry that's retired.

To be fair, he was our best defender in the Euro's and in fact was probably one of the better CB's in the whole tournament. On the pitch, he will be missed, whatever anybody else says.

Good news, already seen some fans saying he won't be missed. We'll just see :)

Can't stand the ****s that don't appreciate him as a player.

Suits me fine, havent followed England since Euro 2000.
    Shower of $hite.
$hit manager, $hit Association behind them, unorganised bunch of f**king idiots who are never able to carry their club form over to International football (that goes for our guys too).
Now Hodgson can recall Rio slur-lip Ferdinand back into the squad to please the Man Utd fans and we can watch England go out of the next World Cup in the first knockout stage, as is the norm :)

Is this true? Havent seen anything in the press?

In all honesty I couldn't care less what Terry got up to as long as he put himself on the line for England. And he always did that.

Not proven guilty of anything at current.

    That's all that matters

Ignore him, he's a troll obsessed with JT and Chelsea in general hence why he's created 2 accounts.

Think he's a a bit of **** personally, but still a great CB. England will miss him more than people realise.

He has been a great and consistent player for his country, always giving absolutely 100%.
Unfortunately he did the same off the pitch.
However, his decision shows a maturity he will hopefully bring to his off field life.
The greats always retire before they are pushed. Nothing sadder than a former great reduced to ordinariness by age and time.
JT has 2 more years as a leader and teacher at our club, hope he enjoys them.

What a crock of **** Terrys statement was.

My position is untenable? why not retire 8 months ago then because the FA was always going to have its own hearing after the criminal one. More a case of jumping before he's pushed. Guilty verdict here we come.

Totally overrated defender anyhow, just need Fat Frank and Cashley to retire now and things will be looking up for Engurlund.

He had just heard that FIFA wanted our players to shake hands in Brazil before the games
The thought that we might get drawn in the same group as an African team persuaded him
