Well it had to happen soon. The guy's about 50 (and also a massive twat and a devisive figure).

 

Just need to get rid of Cole, Gerrard and Rooney and some form of pride may well start to return

 

Does this mean he can concentrate on his affairs... I mean his affairs surrounding Chelsea... I mean the ones regarding football, not team-mates wives...?

Bloody hell, it's a minefield, I don't know how the Chelsea dressing room coped (not as a place where he and his team mate's girlfriend had sex, but as a group of naked guys waiting on a shower and getting changed)... I give up

I can't pretend I'm disappointed because I think there are 4 or 5 better centre backs already and we need to look forward. Plus I don't like him.

He's right about the FA though, he shouldn't have been charged and all that should have been left when he was cleared in a court of law. Regardless what any of us may think he did or didn't say, how serious an issue that is or any other twist, its just a load of bollocks to keep dragging it on and on.

He's still a **** though.

PS did someone really suggest we need to get rid of Ashley Cole (comfortably Englands best performer over the last 10 years), Gerrard and Rooney? I assume that was tongue firmly in cheek.

 

The reason he gave up the captain's armband is because it's black.
