Do I look like I am defending it? I am just putting all the facts out there. While the chants were embarrassing the fact a few Liverpool fans, on today of all days thought hey, lets do plane gestures to provoke them wasnt the best idea in the world either. Would United fans of done the chants if not for the Liverpool fans? I dont know. I would like to say they wouldnt but that would just be a guess.
You're having a go at one of our posters for 'making United fans look bad". I'm telling you that the 3k odd away fans did that all by themselves.
Would the two fans alleged to have done plane signs done it without manu fans singing "where's your famous munich song" during the game? I would like to say they wouldn't but that would just be a guess.
I am not disagreeing but this same poster has been at it all week. That was my point. No matter how many as soon as he had the chance he would post how bad United fans are. Not once has he posted about the United fans applauding the 96, laying flowers and shirts and being well behaved for the most part. No instead he picks out this reaction to some idiots. Are United fans free of blame because they were provoked. Not at all. They are ****ing dipshits but at least tell the whole story.
Maybe not. Some of the other reports if true though were pre meditated. However I have no idea if they are true. Dont ask what they are because its all heresay.
I'll agree its not been totally balanced. But one or two "apparently" making a gesture - and your whole away section singing in unison is something else.
First home game since the findings of the Hillsborough investigation were published and some Liverpool fans contribute to the occasion with Munich gestures. Unbelievable. That doesn't excuse the reaction from the United fans but it is astonishing that any Liverpool fan would think today was an appropriate time to mock the Munich crash.
It is but if we look logically and without trying to free anyone of blame the fact most Liverpool fans had gone and the few who were left behind were taunting the United fans suggests the songs, while crass and stupid were aimed at these supporters not Liverpool fans or the club in general. Doesnt excuse it but Sky and ddddd have tried making it out as if United fans have just started singing these songs for no reason at the end of the game when Liverpool fans had gone. If they wanted to cause mass offence they would of done it during the game. As it is they sang wheres ta famous munich song* * dont get why we basically ask you to sing it. Mad. Anyway, can we focus on the positives from the fans? please log in to view this image The pre match stuff was great wasnt it, the whole stadium on its feet for the 96?
That shirt you post is the minority, unfortunately!!! This is the majority http://twitter.yfrog.com/06u5tokbgkvoblxqnlkupfhjz
Not one person or cctv, or Sky cameras picked these gestures up? I ask because IF this happened, the culprits MUST be banned. IF.
I'd happily focus on the positives had their been the odd idiot which could be singled out. But after seeing the whole section sing it I can't. I'm sorry. But that's it for me. I'd rather we didn't let them have any away section in future. Don't deserve it.
You say it was all 2800 bow, but can you be sure it was all of them. It may well of been, it could of been 100, 500, 1000 even 2799. What if you end up banning ones who didnt sing?
Mate watch the video. It's damn loud. It's in union. It might not be 100% but i bet it's at least 70%. And yes we do not need that **** in our ground. If your club can't windle them out, then why should we let them in.
Nope. Nor should they punish everyone without knowing it was everyone. If thats how you see it then for the love of god, dont ever run for PM.
the police will have other cameras in this area, close ups of people they should ALL be banned, if that means 2000 people then so be it, they wont be although i suspect it was another set of fans not yernited they would be, the fa ( fergie association ) will sweep this under the carpet like the corrupt, baffoons they are
