As i said we really needed that 2nd. Whatever happens today, we are starting to 'gel' and playing like a team.
After the first day defeat I didn't know where the next point was coming from until boiled ham so 2 points is alright I reckon and spud concede in the last 10 mins most games so fingers crossed
I know but they will come. Worse teams than us in the division. Really think we will kick on in the next few games.
Really? West ham don't look too shabby and nor do west brom We really need to start taking our chances soon
don't believe what i've just seen total control then lose it for two minutes, but very good performance though unfortunetly counts for nothing.
Been listening on the radio. Sounded superb bar 60 seconds. From what I saw last weekend, and heard this afternoon, I'm confident that we'll start winning games from now on. This is a talented group of players and they're hungry for it. That was a tough run of 3 games, and we gave a good account of ourselves in each. Could have been 7 points rather than 1. It's coming folks.
everyone that's saying we'll be ok. we've got good players. they'll gel etc etc. please look at the table. we've only got 2pts! this isn't rugby. we don't get a bonus point for playing well and losing. yes there were lots of positives but we still lost. hardest defeat of the season so far. I'm gutted.
Agreed ink If someone else mentions the word 'gel' again!!! Look at Rodgers , liverpools worse start for 101 years but don't worry they'll gel!!
According to the radio commentators, we deserved a point today at the very least. The phrase about gelling pisses me off too normally, but in our case, it is perfectly fair. This is over 50% a brand new team. The positives over the last 3 games have been numerous, we've improved immeasurably at the back, are bossing midfield battles and are developing a hard to beat attitude. 2 points from 15 is not a good return by any standard, but that's 3 very tough games we've just played, 2 away, not to mention the injuries. Our squad is showing its worth. Let's keep it real folks.
Trouble is....you don't win games on paper with a good looking squad. It's won out on the pitch by said good squad playing well in the right formation. West Ham is a massive game for us now!
Col be honest regardless of the scoreline that was by far a new step up in QPR performances. No one is going to tell me we have played better, not only that but these performances have been steadily growing to a level none of us have seen in nearly two decades. it was a classic game of football and the result didn't go our way so West Ham or not please relax !!!
I was with you right up until the last 6 words. Even if you're playing well, there comes a point where you just have to start winning because if you get cut adrift in the PL, it can create a lot of pressure on the squad and soon you could find yourself in the sh*ts. We're playing well but I think we've got to beat the Hammers.
