Better team on the day won. No complaints.

I'll leave the best summing up to Steve Bruce:

    Hull manager Steve Bruce:
"We did not deserve anything. The better team won on the day and we are very disappointed after the way we have played over the last few weeks.
"Too many of our big players did not perform to the levels they have been at. I do not think we defended well enough or did enough to put Leicester off their stride.
"I have just been into see the referee to apologise. Sometimes you do some stupid things, at my age especially.
"I contested a decision that had gone against us but I still should not go on like some raving lunatic, which I did and I have apologised."

Well played foxes. Does AKCJ want to take up my bet yet?

That boring formation you play is miles too easy to pull apart. You just couldnt handle the pace of Knockaert, Nugent and Vardy.

    Knockaert tore you to shreds

I think the better team on the day won. Simple as.

I guess SB will have a look at the formation, because when the players did play well it ripped other teams to pieces. Today it didn't work, were we found out or was it just an excellent display by the foxes? I think he'll stick 3-5-2, and we'll win more than we lose.

Leicester had more quality on the day. Knockaert sounds a really good player.

I was at a football match (playing). We didn't play to the standards of what we have this season and I accept that Leicester were the better team and deserved to win. It is just typical though isn't it that Nugent has a goal drought and then scores three against us.

Knockaert was given a free role and really took to it, BUT it left our right wing quite exposed, De Laet will end up taking some flack before too long as he has little cover, the rest of the midfield had to do more work to cover him, DD and James did good holding roles, but i think Marshall is suffering because of it.

Hull were going to have a bad game eventually, all streaks dont last, im just glad it came against us <ok>

We are best letting Knockaert have a free role. Just let him run wild against teams. There isnt a team in this league who will be able to handle him when he plays to his ability

I cant believe we managed to sign him while in this league. What a find by Walshy

I actual thought Bruce came across well on interview

He said "the ball didn't do out which was true"
He also said but that is no excuse for me to re-act like a kid/charlie (or something like that)
And wanted to apologise to ref.

It isn't a boring formation that we play, that's a tad bit too far. It allows us to attack in numbers and it's the first time it hasn't worked for us. Sometimes managers know how to counter the formation and knock it into the areas of space where Elmohammedy and Dudgeon can't get to in time.

Fair play to the boring twat, he didn't do his usual sit back and wait for the counter attack and Leicester look as though they're starting to come together properly under him.

All I'll say is like I did to my in-laws; wait for the return fixture! ;)

But well played, Leicester were clear winners. Exploited our formation's weak spots.

Have you gone on to 11-a-side yet or is it still mini football with no offside?
